The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Stop for a night to go to Ile de France. 2 adults and 5 children. First thing, we arrived and left by the departmental road, VERY pretty region, I recommend it. For the com it was extremely clear (be careful not to be fooled by the GPS, the apartment is at the impasse opposite the church). Arrived in total autonomy, splendid apartment, very well equipped, very comfortable beds. Very relaxing night. Apartment in the city center. A 5-star more than deserved. A great weekend of May 8 with the family, we know how to visit the Zoo du Pal which is only 25 km from the cottage, 8 minutes hypermarket, gas station, tobacco, bakery and restaurants. We recommend the cottage, it is in a green space, the children could play outside.

Very well equipped and furnished accommodation, ideally located in the heart of many activities: Vulcania, Lemptegy volcano, Murol castle… From the cottage are also within walking distance: a bakery, butcher and convenience store. Olby also has a pharmacy and a food truck on certain days. We had a lovely time with the family in Nathalie's cottage. Everything is thought out to feel at home.

Flawless accommodation, spacious and very clean. Near the village of Yzeure. Convenient location to stay in the area or for a stop because near the bakery; convenient for breakfast or brunch. No noise and not too hot indoors make you sleep well.

We enjoyed the calm of the place, the view of the lake, as well as the very comfortable mattresses. We also appreciated the responsiveness and kindness of our host. The only downside is the lack of a broom that made it a little complicated for us when we checked out. Finally, there are plenty of trails for walks, and we were able to radiate from puy de domes to Mont Dore without any problem. We appreciated the value for money and will recommend this place without hesitation.
