Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Allegheny River

Amber was the best host! The place was beautiful and clean and very well taken care of. Nestled right in the town of Coudersport it was close to everything we wanted. We were bummed when we got there and didn’t see the propane fire pit that was in the listing and when asked about it Amber jumped right on it and offered to drop some firewood off for the wood burning pit the next day! (Pesky bears seemed to have wanted to use the propane pit!) We got to enjoy a couple fires on our stay and couldn’t of asked for anything better. Definitely will be staying here again when we come back!

We had an amazing stay here. The house is beautiful and very clean. They even left little treats by the bed and some popcorn and lemonade in the kitchen which was a hit to the hungry kids when we first got there. The backyard is so beautiful with this incredibly huge and gorgeous tree, and the fenced in back yard, made it so peaceful and private. Definitely recommend sitting on the back porch with your morning coffee. We had a busy weekend planned, so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit and grill, but wonderful additions to this home. The beds are comfy and we slept well. The bathroom was spotless. Fun games to play in the home. And we LOVED the library collection- something for any age. Megs was super responsive to any questions we had, and also had some wonderful suggestions on things to do and see. Just 3-4 min away are some great restaurants to enjoy as well. We highly recommend Megs place and we will definitely be returning!!

Charming little river house, perfect for our needs. Well maintained, comfortable living room and bedroom. Two minute drive to town, restaurants, coffee shop. This will for sure be our go-to when visiting Leechburg. Thank you, Leah!

Mark and Tammy’s home is charming and so comfortable for a relaxing stay. The views are beyond breathtaking. You can see the beautiful trees and river and sit out on the back deck and watch the birds soaring. A fantastic place to stay.

This was our second stay at this cottage and will not be our last. The location is perfect. The lake was beautiful on the day we left. The cottage was clean and bright. Farrah adds a personal touch that is welcoming. We like that since there is such a nice outdoor space to sit with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, having no TV in the living space is a welcome change. We had our grandson with us and he didn't even miss it. We will definitely be staying again!

We had such a great stay here! The lake was beautiful and having access to all of the watercraft was so much fun! There were some kid toys out that my kids enjoyed playing with too. It easily fit 7 people with room for more! The host was also very easy to contact and communicated with us quickly and often about anything we had questions about. We would love to stay here again in the future and would recommend to others for sure!

This is my fourth year staying at Nanny's Nook. I love the quite, beautiful location. I have coffee on the porch and see amazing birdlife, including Baltimore orioles, blue birds, even spotted an eagle. At night the stars are amazing and a nice fire pit and wood is provided. The fishing is amazing and First Fork is heavily stocked, with many wild and holdover trout. Amber's place is located near the best stretches and as a bonus the seldom fished Freeman Run, Class A wild trout stream, enters First Fork at the property. I typically go with my wife, cousin and his wife. We fish and explore during the day and cook in the very capable kitchen in the evening. It is also an easy drive to Cherry Springs, but honestly the dark sky is the same from many places very nearby.

Richard was so accommodating. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh muffins and soda. The house was spotless and made me feel right at home.

The hosts are super friendly ... truly amazing people! The apartment is sooo cute and comfortable. Great job on the rehab!! Thank you for opening up your home! ❤️

I can’t say enough about this beautiful apartment. Addie provides everything you might have forgotten at home to make your stay enjoyable. She responds quickly to any emails The suite is located on a gorgeous peace of property with a few different options for guests to enjoy the view. Inside is a high quality large couch, great mattress, large shower and full kitchen. Addie has created a true retreat. Everything about our stay was top notch.

Always our go to place to stay when in the area. Perfect hosts.

My husband and I chose Bonnie’s place for our anniversary weekend getaway. Bonnie responded quickly to all the questions regarding directions, restaurants and even called a kayak/canoe rental place to let me know they wouldn’t be open till later due to high waters from rain. Her place is close to restaurants and a scenic 25 minute drive to Cooks Forest. Check-in went smoothly. She gave us a tour of our rental space. The garage entrance led to the billboard room, few steps down to our rental space, living room, kitchen, bathroom. Bedroom was separate from living room/kitchen area. Hot tub was in a covered porch with windows and views of the backyard. She had muffins and a Happy Anniversary sign which was sweet. Her place was cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking. She offered her husband to start a fire for us but we ran out of time. We enjoyed our weekend getaway and feel it’s a great deal for all the amenities with the price.

We had decided to come into town to visit some friends and see the baseball games that weekend. We came with my 8 month old and arrived super early in the morning (2am ) . The check in was easy and Andrew spelled everything out for us. Once inside it was clean, up to date and nothing really our babes could easily get to, which was a plus. There was an extra pull out bed but the bedroom had plenty of space for us to put a pack and play. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and had everything you could need. We were a close to the stadium and where the action was, just maybe a mile and half away. We would definitely recommend Andrew’s place to others coming into town and hope to stay again when we return.

Very nice space. It was perfect for my wife and I when we needed a quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle for a few days to just unwind. Off the beaten path, but not so far away that you can’t still find activities or food.

Jeannie and Herb’s place was exactly what our family needed on our way to the east coast. It was quiet and peaceful, viewing the cows and chickens was a favorite of our kids. There were plenty of games and puzzles to occupy our kids and everything we needed to make a healthy meal was available in the kitchen.

Wonderful location that is close to many tourist locations, especially Cherry Springs! The place is very spacious and clean with many amenities. The hosts are extremely responsive and tentative to your needs.

Our Cousins Getaway Weekend at the cabin was extraordinary in all ways!! We were thrilled with the accommodations and have never stayed in a cleaner, more well apportioned space. The cabin is welcoming, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable! It was the perfect location for a weekend of cycling, sewing, and relaxing! We appreciated Stephanie’s hospitality and her thoughtful communications before, during, and at the end of our trip. We were also very grateful to Stephanie’s husband for going out of his way on a rainy day to deal with a trash situation. Stephanie and Rand were excellent hosts and we will definitely check the dates available when planning our next adventure to the area!

We were looking for a cabin that was private and updated and this property did not disappoint. We had no neighbors and the property was immaculate. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Quaint area approximately 30 mins from Raystown Lake, with many wineries in the area, Brookmere Winery and Vineyard Inn being our favorite. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very nice. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire-pit and hot tub. I would highly recommend this cabin. Our host Susan was easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. 5 stars all the way!!!

What a delightful stay for a girl’s trip of three.I had no idea what to expect of the area, but Liz’s home and property were fantastic. I immediately felt at home when I walked in. Photos are 100% accurate. Small details were appreciated: lots of hooks and places to keep items, lamps galore to keep the perfect ambiance, aesthetic was incredible, and you must check out all the books! Kitchen well stocked, as was the cleaning supply. Hot tub and entire home was pristine (I know a frames are TOUGH to keep dust/bug free- but Liz’s home was immaculate). Very comfortable beds, and beautiful, soft linens. The communication was great, easy in and out. We made a trek out to the Ledges and just had an overall amazing experience! You will not regret this rental and I am already planning a trip back!

Amanda was very responsive with any questions I had! the cabin was beautiful and super clean, like cleaner than even any hotels ive ever been too! it was alittle hard to use GPS to find it but her directions helped ALOT! she helped us have a great stay overall!

I live in an area where I wake up to the sound of birds and it’s just peace and quiet so that’s what I look for in a place to stay, well this was it. Loved the rustic look on the inside, and you can’t beat sitting around a campfire in the evenings. I hope this place is available the next time I want it. Perfect place to relax!

Cozy, comfortable furniture, clean, good kitchen. This was our second time staying there and it was very nice and we would happily stay there again. It may be helpful to note that for some reason, they unplug the couch and you have to find the power cord in the pantry and plug in the couch before it reclines. It’s not hard to do, but knowing beforehand to might save some confusion.
