Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Alexander County

The home was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were huge and everything was so clean and luxurious. We were so pleased to stay here; it was a huge upgrade from a hotel.

Rick and Judy's place is an amazing find! They thought of everything you might need and is such a great location. They are very friendly and all the lake amenities are top notch! We plan to stay here again next year!

We were not able to stay on our dates as our daughter woke up extremely sick. I called Randy and he was willing to move the dates for a future date. I really appreciate him working with us and was unfortunate we had to cancel the morning of. We look forward to staying there soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakefront Serenity. The view was beautiful, house cozy, and loved the friendly cats! ❤️ We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was fun, too.

What a lovely Airbnb ! John was an excellent host! His wife made a Banana Nut loaf bread for our arrival. And it was delicious! John shared some fresh eggs from their chickens and my husband devoured them!! The unit is neat, modern and clean! There is everything one needs in the kitchen and bathroom from towels , linens , shampoo and soap . A great big living room TV to watch movies on and a bedroom TV . The leather couch and chairs are comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I am fussy as I have several chronic back issues . I was relieved and delighted!! Alot of thought and care goes into this downstairs basement apt . This location is convenient to several key cities and towns. It is roughly 75 miles from Ashville, Hickory is only a few miles. Blowing Rock , N.C. is about 30-35 miles . ( a must !! ) An excellent restaurant in town is owned by a family member and does not disappoint! Highlands Butchery . We would stay again when traveling or visting Valdese area.

Diane was extremely understanding and easy to work with, you can't ask for a better place to stay in the area with room to sleep 4. Note there is a half bath/laundry room and 2 couches on the first floor. The rest is on a second floor of this duplex.

Perfect home on the lake for us while in town for a long weekend! We will book again next time we are in Hickory!

I am a travel nurse working a long contract and have stayed here for several months. Patsy and her husband are great hosts, super friendly, easy to contact with a quick response, and always willing to help with anything as I also work long overnight shifts. It is a very quiet location and very convenient to work. There are a lot of things to do and see not far away in surrounding towns. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Cynthia was an amazing host. This has to be one of the best states I’ve ever gotten through Airbnb. She was intensive courteous and always thought about our leisure time during the day. Will highly recommend anyone to partake in this listing. I hope that Cynthia allows us to come back for a future stays cause I will definitely be returning if possible thank you so much Cynthia you are amazing

What a cute space! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. Our stay included just myself and my husband but one more person would not have affected the space! Loved the welcome book which included the story about the home… that was a bonus! We were gone from morning until night… so we did not need a place to lounge or hang out. The full kitchen was nice even though we ate out mostly. Highly recommended!

This home is one of the best we have ever stayed at. It is beautiful, well appointed and perfect in every way. So quiet and peaceful yet close to shopping and great restaurants. Easy ride to Blowing Rock and Boone. Sit on the back porch for morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise and the front porch for evening sunsets. We appreciate Amanda sharing her home. It was the perfect setting for our family visit. We will be booking this home again when we are in the Hickory area. Thank you Amanda for your hospitality.

We absolutely loved this place. I want to live here! Beautifully decorated, clean, back porch is amazing. Private, quiet location, fished off the dock. I can’t say enough good things about it. It was perfect.

Initially, we were disappointed that the two single beds were in the living room (my fault for not reading the description carefully) and that we'd have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, but by the second night, we were used to it. We loved having breakfast on the patio. It was so quiet and peaceful, and the view was delightful. Being able to partake in the Art of Living grounds was a definite plus. The trails were fun, and the view from the dining hall was stunning. We enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely beautiful location! I’ve been wanting to check out the Art of Living retreat center and staying here was a perfect way to explore without having to attend a retreat. It’s just a short walk from the cafeteria, and there’s lots of drop in activities on the campus. It was stunning and perfect for a recharge!
