Farmstay vacation rentals in Alandroal

We were 4 families with children spending a week at Quinta da Paz in August/24 and evaluated the space very well. The house has a lot of space with 4 out of 5 bedrooms with a private bathroom, very large living room, kitchen and dining room also large. Outside space is very pleasant with immense lawn space around the pool and with fruit and shadows trees. The farm has a chicken coop where it was possible for the kids to take the eggs for cooking and has a beautiful mare (it is in a large but “fenced” space that in theory does not come out). Mr. João who received us and Mr. Carlos who owns it are 5-star people who responded to everything and helped everything. I recommend and repeat

Lovely house in a beautiful location! Perfect for disconnecting and recharging!.. Close to a beautiful town. Make sure your vehicle is high enough of the ground since the roads on the approach are Rough. But it’s all part of the charm! Would stay again and would recommend!!

Our stay at Duarte's cottage has been wonderful. We have been two couples with three dogs and we have all really enjoyed it. The house is completely rural, located on the outskirts of Campo Maior, in a very quiet area where you will not hear a single car. Very helpful Duarte at all times. Thank you so much, we will be back!!

This is a real gem. Rural, remote and just what we wanted. The farmhouse was perfect- clean, well equipped and traditional. The pool was lovely and the setting next to shade of the walnut tree was great. We loved the sheep with their bells, the swifts and owls. Close enough to enjoys meals out in Estremoz but secluded enough to leave the world behind. We were well looked after by Maria and her son. Highly recommended.

Great location to explore the region. The place was clean with all the amenities, suited for a party of 4. Will definitely stay here again. We love the decorations in the house. Our host was most friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the complementary wine and cheese.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

We had a great stay in July 2024. I was staying at the property with my kids and a bunch of their friends and there was always something to do or somewhere to hang out for everyone. We had a problem with the stove - and there the instructions could perhaps have been a bit better. However, the team managing the property helped solve it to everyone's satisfaction. We would definitely stay at the property again!

We can definitely recommend this place! It is a charming cottage that is part of an old monastery. We found everything we were looking for: a lush garden with fruit trees that we were allowed to pick from, a fireplace, a well equipped kitchen and a terrace with bbq. Miranda received us warmly and decorated the cottage with care, nothing was missing. Thank you for this experience Miranda!

A lovely modern suite with lots of outside space, a beautiful salt water pool and serene countryside as a backyard. A quick drive into the town which had authentic restaurants with local wines and friendly people. The kitchen had enough supplies to cook. Breakfast was great, substantial and included. We recommend this place!

House quite suitable for groups, with the essentials to spend a weekend or a vacation. Very well located next to Reguengos, with easy access and flexible check-in. Host very available for questions and help needed.

the place is magical! all the beauty of the Alentejo is gathered here... typical house (Monte), savannah landscapes, beautiful swimming pool, olive trees, fruit trees, birds and animals, Mourao 2 minutes away, its castle, its beach... The bedroom is a real little apartment with a fully-equipped kitchen, a living/dining room, a private terrace but also common areas outside in the beautiful garden or the outdoor living room along the pool. Everything is very well maintained, a mix of tradition and modernity...

Celia and Sílvia are amazing hosts. They answered all our questions before we arrived, welcomed us warmly, and even had a wonderful gift waiting for us. Throughout our stay, they were always available whenever we needed anything. Sílvia shared the fascinating, centuries-old history of "Monte Mantacães" and their vision for its future. The house is excellent—beautifully renovated while preserving its traditional charm, and very comfortable. It’s spacious enough for a family of four and has all the amenities one could wish for. The surroundings are also fantastic, perfect for peaceful walks, stunning sunsets, and a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the afternoon. A definite 5-star stay that we highly recommend!

Monte do Colmeal is an amazing place for a relaxing vacation in contact with nature. The apartment is simple but it is sufficient and well thought out. You have plenty of space to relax both by the pool and near the rooms. Breakfast was very good and served in the rooms according to the request, and at the desired times. A word of appreciation also to the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the stay and recommend it!

I had already been alone in this place, it was a place that gave me tranquility and I felt comfortable as if I were at home. So this year I recommended the same place to my parents, who came and were amazed by the place and its surroundings. I recommend this place for those looking for a little tranquility and comfort, with several cultural possibilities very close by. Not to mention the region's excellent cuisine.

The house very clean, tidy, with everything we need in the kitchen and the rest of the house The owners are very friendly and very helpful! We felt right at home and so do our big guys! It has a huge area, the pool is great!

Perfect location for some quiet holidays between friends and family! Although the photos reveal the quality of the house, I can say that live is still higher and more surprising. The house had a process of renovation and despite the high temperatures of the Alentejo in August both the common areas and the rooms remain fresh. The good taste and decoration of the spaces made the stay all the more enjoyable! In addition, hosts have always been available to help and resolve any issues quickly. We really like the holidays and we hope to go back!

The owner is always available for questions and will look with you for any solution, flexible. Katia provides the best breakfast and is incredibly helpful in all. They have the sweetest dogs and other animals on the property. Our kids have trouble leaving. They felt at home and missing the animals. From the cottage there is a view of the pool. Ideal also for younger children, the supervision of the pool is therefore optimal. The beds are fantastic! The area pays off for beautiful walks with or without a dog. Due to our emigration to Portugal, we visited many different airbnb houses and can rightly say that at Luis we only had a wonderful period of time! Thank you!

This place is just a wonderful oasis of peace and beauty. The antique house is 200 years old and belongs to the family ever since; the surrounding nature too beautiful to be true, the infinity pool was amazing even if for us in April, after 10 days of rain, unfortunately too cold. We had a wonderful stay and would like to sincerely thank Paul, our host. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, told us a lot about the house and the surroundings, and even showed the children different plants, which they loved. He was always available when we needed something, but never intrusive – just the perfect host. Thank you, Paul, for making our stay so special!

Traditional Portuguese home in beautiful surroundings - we were blown away with the views and loved being surrounded by cork forests and on a working farm. We went swimming every day despite the bad weather as the pool views were magnificent. The house is beautiful and very spacious, but more rustic than in the photos. Our elderly parents missed some of their creature comforts like comfy beds, fast flowing showers and a modern kitchen. The owner Paul was very helpful and willing to help us with anything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions. The atmosphere is incredible, surrounded by nature and with tranquility that makes us feel completely relaxed. The swimming pool was perfect for the hot days, and I loved being able to be close to the animals, which gave a special touch to the experience. The hospitality was exceptional, the Elsa always available to help and make sure everything was perfect. Definitely an experience I recommend and would love to repeat in the future.

Our stay was simply fantastic! We were a large group, and yet everything went perfectly. The house was impeccable, super well equipped and we had absolutely everything we needed.
