Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Alachua County

Visiting student, stayed for 2 weeks. Was very close to campus, could walk or take bus. Very convenient location! Be prepared for the kitties to request pets.

We came to Gainesville for a Florida football game. Amy’s place was conveniently located near campus and a quiet, cozy retreat before and after the big game. The condo was well stocked and peaceful. Amy was very communicative and very thoughtful making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Great stay! Would stay again!

Beautiful place and very clean! Had all the essentials - kitchen items, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, towels, etc. Pleasant back deck overlooking a grassy area, great living room area, lots of closet space, nice washer/dryer, blackout shades in spacious bedrooms. Niki was quick to respond and very helpful. Would 100% stay here again.

We thought that Marcos’s AirBnB was fantastic. It was a large beautiful, spacious apartment set in a wonderful village community in the countryside and only about 3 miles from the city. We had everything we needed in the apartment and also had access to the swimming pool and gymnasium. Outside in the village there were a few bars, cafe’s, restaurants and shops. Also the communication with Marcos was first class, receiving prompt and clear instructions about how to get into the property. We also thought that the apartment was excellent value for money and we would recommend anyone who needs to stay in Gainesville to check Marcos’s apartment out.

Vacasa/host was very responsive when needed and had questions and the apartment was very clean and modern. If local host was not available, the chat feature provided a good backup for questions . A great location to the nearby indoor track which was the purpose of our visit. There are two bedrooms and sofa. There were sufficient kitchenware to cook but cooking utensils were limited to mostly silverware. Will definitely look to this place if we return !

It was our stay at Barsala while in Newberry for softball tournament. 100% my go to place if not forced to stay at a participating hotel of the event.

Great host everything was exactly as described. I make a once a year trip to Gainesville for a basketball tournament and we definitely try to see if this place is available again in the future.

We had a really lovely stay at this Condo. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cut our visit short. Giri and the team were very responsive and accommodating throughout our visit.

Maria‘s rental was just as stated in her listing. It was very clean, kitchen was well furnished, and the back seating area was so peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay. Also, Maria did a great job of communicating with us prior to, during, and after our stay. Would definitely rent her place again if we were in the area

Convenient location, comfortable and good value. The hosts are terrific and super responsive.

Great location, right off the interstate and close to the mall. Plenty of parking nearby. Unit is clean and everything works! Only down side is road noise from the interstate for one of the bedrooms. But not too bad, just have to be aware. 2 and 1/2 bath was amazing for a family of 6! Lots of clean towels. Washer/dryer a big plus.

We enjoyed our stay! The location was very nice and perfect for our needs. For the 2 of us there was plenty of room. The condo was well stocked. It was exactly as the pictures showed, as well as the description. We visit this area at least once a year and will look to stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay with Albert and Olivia! The space was quiet, cozy, and exactly what I needed. Check-in was a breeze, and everything I needed was already there. The hosts were communicative and made sure I felt welcome and supported throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

A quick trip a for high school graduation ceremony. Very nice, quiet neighborhood that was close to our friend’s house. Loved the little post it notes the hostess left around the house.

Great location for us in Gainesville. Place was clean and it was easy to get settled. bed was comfortable and we had what we needed. Plenty of space and enough in the kitchen to work with for food preparation
