Dar ME- Stylish Riad in the Medina with Ocean View

We stayed with our 8 and 10 year old daughters for 3 days and 2 nights. It was perfect. The riad is well located, even when you arrive with suitcases it is close to one of the gates of the Medina. (Option to have your luggage brought by people from the Medina with trolleys if needed). We were able to do anything on foot. The best thing about the accommodation is that each bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet. The rooftop with ocean view is pleasant even if we did not enjoy it more than that because there are plenty of things to do in Essaouira. The welcome and exchanges with Catherine were very good. She even arranged our transfer from Marrakech airport with a very professional and serious driver company. Stay more than up to par in this Riad and in this beautiful Moroccan city.

An inviting outdoor area features a swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace. A shaded pergola offers a dining space, and comfortable seating is provided beside the pool. The villa's rustic walls and decorative elements enhance the ambience of the space.

Very beautiful house as described in the listing. Ideally located between Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki. We thank Lionel and Sophie for the recommendations of snacks and restaurants (we were delighted every time). The garden and pool are very well maintained even during the stay. Great family stay, I recommend it ++++

You need an SUV to get there comfortably. Safe, cozy place. Very pleasant and relaxing interior. helpful, problem-solving.

Charming Refuge between Medina and Ocean

This place is incredible and spread across 5 floors - the photos don’t do this stunning property justice! We were in love with the arty, bohemian decor and the rooftop terrace was where we spend most of our evenings! The master bedroom and living room were particular favourites - the large flatscreen TV was esp a hit for our 7 year old son! The complimentary sweet treats and fresh orange juice on arrival was a lovely touch. The Dar had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our only regret not being here longer as we were only staying in Essaouira for 4 nights. Jawad was very helpful guiding us on our day of arrival and checking all was ok during our stay. Helene was also great in recommending local restaurants - Triskala was amazing! Essaouira was simply beautiful and we can’t wait to come back. Would 100% recommend. Thank you very much.

Serene place sourrounded by vast nothingness and the endless views of the ocean. Stylishly designed and furnished. Moroccan with European twist. Literally every single room has a view all the way from the bed…and sometimes even both bathroom and the toilet ;) Plenty of space to gather. Pool area with deckchairs, gazebo with table percect for dining under the stars, spacious dining table at the kitchen and massive living room with wood burning fire-place. Perfect both for couples like us, looking for bit more space and some peace and quiet and larger groups. As anything can be organised. Drivers, kite and surfing lessons, yoga, cooking on site. Heated pool was a bonus we did not expect. So were the shutters and darkening shades in most of the bedrooms - great sleep at night. Overall : simply amazing! The only downside is that everywhere is a quite a drive so own car is certainly recommended but this is the price to be paid for silence and privacy. Will come back for sure!

We can recommend Eloise's villa from the bottom of our hearts! We would have preferred to stay much longer – it was just fantastically beautiful and wonderfully quiet. In the wonderful beds we slept like on clouds. The team that takes care of the house with a lot of love and professionalism was also fantastic – we felt completely pampered! Especially recommended are the massages we booked for three people – they were simply first class. Our tip: It's best to drive to Villa Dar Bouma tomorrow and stay as long as possible!
