Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Agios Nikolaos

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

Very private, no noise from neighbors. We hardly heard any noise from the traffic as the apartment is not directly on the road. We stayed for a week and spent much time on the incredible balcony: you can always find a space in the shade there. We loved the Galini beach nearby. only downside is that you have to walk for 200 meters along the road, as there is no footpath. There is a private beach closer by, but not everyone will be willing to climb down. It's doable for most people, but it is no walk in the park. If you like solitude, or if the Galini beach is too crowded, then certainly try to go the private beach. The WiFi in the apartment and on the balcony is good enough to stream video to one laptop. We had a tremendous time and certainly will come back some time in the future

The house is fantastic - it’s comfortable, cute, and in a great location. It’s well stocked / supplied, and the courtyard is nice for an early morning / evening hang-out. If you haven’t stayed in a traditional-style house before, it’s a great opportunity to do so. Eleni is lovely and was really helpful - we had an issue with the wifi & she was in touch to fix it right away. Kavousi is a great place to stay in its own right, or to base yourself if you’re adventuring around east Crete.

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

We had a very nice week in the apartment with our children of 4 and 6 years old. The apartment was as shown in the pictures of the ad! Clean, neat, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Balcony on the smaller side with four of us, but that didn't bother us. We had regular contact with Magdalena, she always responded very helpfully and extremely quickly (within 5 min). That was very pleasant! She had also arranged a taxi from the airport to the apartment and back for us at the end of the week. For the kids enough to do here in the area, everything within walking distance: the small swimming pool, beach/boulevard, CretAquarium, Dinosaur park. I would definitely recommend the apartment! Furthermore, we found the area a bit outdated (although there is a lot of new construction coming!) and not very lively. We were there outside the holiday season.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

A wonderful apartment with a beautiful view over the olive trees to the water. We felt very comfortable there. It couldn't have been better for us. And since we have been going to Keratokambos for many years, we will certainly come back. Everything was impeccable and extremely cozy. Thank you so much

The apartment was ideally located, very close to the beach and restaurants, but we were not disturbed by any noise whatsoever. Plenty of space for a couple and a small child. The outdoor terrace has a good view of the sea. Magdalena was the perfect host, arranging transport to and from the airport and quickly responded to any questions we had. We basically had a very good time and will hopefully return in the future.

We had a fantastic time in Michael's apartment. We didn't lack anything. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. We were happy and satisfied. Thanks Michail!

Maria, Thank you for a wonderful stay! I didn’t think it was possible but the apartment was even more beautifully than the photos. It was such a treat getting to enjoy our morning coffee on the balcony and look out into the valley. Everything was perfect for our stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a fantastic last minute stay for 2 nights with my family. The villa has absolutely wonderful views with a stunning infinity pool. It is with in a short walk to restaurants and supermarkets, also to get the ferry across to Spinalonga. Very much recommend staying here .

Had a 2 week stay at Villa Heliopetra. The villa was absolutely beautiful, very private with amazing views. Within easy walk to a couple of good tavernas (about 10 min but there is a steep driveway back up to the villa) and an easy and scenic walk along the seafront (about 20min) to Elounda which has lots of options for tavernas, bars and shops. The villa had efficient air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen and a cosy area with the option of a real fire in an impressive fireplace. We paid to have the large hot tub heated in the first week as the weather was unusually chilly, but used it unheated to cool down when the temperatures rose. We found it to be a great addition. The outstanding feature was the fabulous view of the bay from Spinalonga island round to Elounda, absolutely breathtaking! We had a problem with slow Wifi during our stay but Giorgos sorted it very quickly. He was a brilliant host and very responsive to any questions. We would love to come back to stay again soon.

Highly recommend Jan’s gorgeous home. We witnessed some of our favorite sunsets here and the house itself is just a beauty. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen to cook up a great meal. It was also such a great location to a lot of areas we wanted to visit. Jan gave us a lot of recommendations and we ended up going to a few of the restaurants Jan sent us to! If you’re looking for a beautiful, private airbnb that is situated in a central place near all the beaches you’d likely go to, this is your spot!

What words should we find for this excellent house, spotless, well equipped, furnished with taste, with unobstructed views of the sea and the mountains of Lasithi. The Apostolis impeccable host,very friendly, very kind and always willing to serve us. We wish him and his family to be well and to rejoice in their home. We hope we can come back for more days

We had an extremely nice stay at the villa. The pool and views are simply breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of space to relax. Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. Thank you for everything Stavros. We will be back!

We stayed here for my bachelorette trip with a group of girls and had the most amazing time! The villa was even more beautiful in person – clean, spacious, and full of charm. The outdoor space was perfect for lounging by the pool- he even tried helping us heat the pool bc we got a chilly day so we still had a great time and soaking in the Greek view. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, helping us with everything from local tips to arranging transportation and a private boat trip and massages . It truly felt like a dream getaway – peaceful, private, and full of good vibes LUXURIOUS- 5 STAR Highly recommend for anyone who wants a good trip all the way around- group trip, girls’ getaway, or any special occasion! Thank you for making our stay in Crete unforgettable!

We felt very comfortable in Konstantinos' villa from the beginning. The equipment is very good and everything else was tiptop, so we didn't even have to contact Konstantinos. Arrival, key handover, etc. went completely smoothly. The accommodation is set at the edge of the small village of Anatoli, where it is very quiet and you have a lot of privacy. There are 2 small taverns in the village that are worth a visit. Here you are still away from the big tourism. Anyone who comes here should definitely be animal-friendly. There are some street cats around the villa that are grateful if you take care of them. However, you have to think carefully beforehand about whether to feed the cats. We enjoyed our time there and can imagine coming back here.

Place was great! View and pool were amazing features , the hosts waited for our arrival and checked in on us after the earthquake, accommodations were great! Enough space and a clean space. Would recommend having a car , a little car for walking but with the rental car it made it easy for us and everything is maybe 10 mins away, a lot of good towns to check out, one of our favourites was Agios
