Cottage vacation rentals in Adirondack

This was a great getaway! It was the perfect size house for the three of us. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped (especially compared to other places I’ve stayed). Emmy was responsive and available. I wish we could have stayed here longer!

My husband and I just returned from a getaway week at the Graystone Cottage. We had a wonderful and relaxing time with not a care in the world because Cassandra and Jeremy addressed everything! Graystone Cottage is a beautiful property, both inside and out. I could spend hours in the hot tub just gazing at the many facets of woods outback! Inside, we truly felt like we were staying in a AAA Four Diamond property! As a walker, there’s nothing like a double loop up and back nearby Quaker Mountain Road or even a walk to nearby Marcy Park for the Whiskey Festival and Arts and Crafts Fair that coincided with our visit. And trails? Oh my…we could take our dog on so many nearby hikes along the Ausable where she could swim This was our second exceptional experience with hosts Cassandra and Jeremy. We all have a choice in where to stay…we will ALWAYS stay at one of Cassandra and Jermey’s properties!

Beautiful, quaint location to get away. Absolutely loved everything about the space (especially the dock).

Our three-night stay at the cottage was great! Amanda quickly responded to any questions or concerns I had. The cottage had a fully stocked kitchen and the outside grill worked great. The backyard was not huge but lots of fun nonetheless with different lawn games, furniture, hammock and hot tub. It was sweet in the evening with the torches lit and tree lights on. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The beds and linens were divine; soft sheets and very comfortable mattress. Overall a great place to stay. We enjoyed nearby Victoria pool and Saratoga Spa State Park.

An incredibly beautiful, immaculate cottage with lovely mountain views and the most thoughtful, generous, and responsive hosts! Scott and Annika absolutely deserve their title as "Superhosts." We felt like we had our own private resort with a luxurious hot tub and a fire pit under the stars. Scott and Annika sent clear instructions for how to let ourselves into the cottage and had a great online guidebook. A kind handwritten note was there to welcome us. Scott and Annika checked in with us often to ask if we needed anything, and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. They set up the cottage with extra comforts such as slippers and snacks, and we really enjoyed using the espresso machine. We were especially happy that we were able to bring our 30-lb. dog with us, and we loved exploring all of the nature and art in the nearby Berkshires and southern Vermont. We highly recommend this cottage, and we hope to go back to stay there again soon.

We had a great vacation at Cora’s place, It’s cozy and close to all attractions and many restaurants. Great spot for families with children

We enjoyed a family get together at The Club House. There was plenty of space to accommodate us all, the pool table, darts and games kept everyone entertained (big Jenga, dominoes, board and video games). Great outdoor space to watch the ships pass by, throw the football around, etc. Genie was proactive and responsive. We definitely recommend.

We loved this air b and b! It is very spacious and just like the pictures. It was so convenient right off the highway but also surrounded by trees. The hot tub was great too!

We had a fantastic time at your riverside home. Beautiful view, extremely clean and relaxing. Thanks for having us as guest again this year!

My family had a great time staying at Jennifer’s place. The house was stocked with towels, linens, blankets, and just about anything you forgot to bring from home (face wash, shampoo, dish washing pods, etc.) The backyard was a perfect combination of security (the fenced in yard for our pups) and serenity to unwind and enjoy the fire with family and friend. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our trip and stay very much! Jeremy was an amazing host! very friendly, very easy to communicate with. We brought up our dog which was not a problem with Jeremy. He was very kind, in having snacks, fresh eggs and a fridge full of things for us to have. The koi pond was beautiful. The stay was very peaceful and the view was breath taking.

Conveniently located to downtown and Lake Placid attractions. Large fenced in yard perfect for our dog. Although the location is on a somewhat busy road, the cottage is tucked away several hundred feet away in a quiet, private yard. Very unique design touches in the cottage including a vaulted ceiling with fan and comfortable king size bed.

Tonya went above expectations to make sure we had a pleasant stay. She even arranged with her neighbor to allow us space to park our boat trailer. This was a great location for boating and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this as the p!ace to stay. Thanks Tonya, you are a super host and we appreciated your recommendations for grocery shopping, restaurants and best boat launch. We made some special memories with our grandson and fishing on Lake Champlain. We had a great time.

Beautiful cabin, very comfortable and clean. Deborah and Richard were very attentive. We ya e a good time and enjoy the river.

Jason’s place was excellent! Exactly what we were looking for in a country getaway-cozy cabin in the woods, full of charm and close to farms, hiking and swimming. we loved listening to the records while cooking. Perfect spot, perfect vacation!

Great relaxing place right on the lake. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need including spices. We stayed for four days and wish we had stayed longer. The only thing to remember is if using Google Maps it will take you to the wrong address,

We loved staying here! The place is so well kept. It is so charming, peaceful and very comfortable. Location was great and Anne was very kind and responsive. Would 100 percent recommend!

The house was a perfect base for a week of various fishing experiences in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked enough with pans, dishes, and cutlery that were able to cook pretty complicated meals most nights we were there (though if you do stay in the area, treat yourself to at least one night out at the Woodshed right in Tupper Lake).

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wildflower Cottage during the Lake Placid Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k race weekend. We loved being able to retreat to the peaceful cottage after hiking or running around Mirror Lake. Ted has created a trail system around the property which was fun to check out and loosen up the legs between outings. The cottage was very clean and quiet. We loved having the windows open for a fresh ADK breeze during our stay - we were very fortunate to have cooler weather during our visit. Some days were quite cloudy with rain showers, but we managed to get a few glimpses of the mountains. Ted was friendly and greeted us shortly after our arrival. The cottage is as pictured, and only about 10 minutes from Mirror Lake, Mt Van Hoevenberg and Adirondack Loj.

Higley Flow was a perfect, relaxing venue for our family that was in the area to attend a college graduation. It is a beautiful house; it has a fabulous wraparound deck. John was very proactive in communicating, calling me a week in advance to introduce himself and explain the house. The house was very clean. We did not have a chance to enjoy the outdoor spaces due to the weather but they look great. Elderly guests or those with physical disabilities should be aware of the spiral staircase that is difficult to navigate. There is an alternate staircase outdoors, but was difficult to use during foul weather.

Linda was a perfect host and even better human being, she was very kind and thoughtful! I would love to come back soon to her paradise of a home!

We absolutely loved staying at the Stillman. The house had absolutely everything we needed and much more. It was beautifully decorated and the perfect romantic getaway. Larry & Christine were so attentive and Larry gave us great recommendations on what to do in the area. He really went above and beyond! The space was perfect for exploring, and relaxing by the fire pit after a long day of hiking. Will definitely be back for some skiing in the winter. Thank you guys so much!

I loved this lake house. It is a very efficient use of space and very thought out. It was quieter than expected, being on the main road. The high speed Internet was a super plus for my husband and I simultaneously working with data heavy video sessions and database work. I know high speed Internet in the ADK can be spotty.
