Staying in Maisie's beautiful log cabin home and getting to know her were both wonderful experiences! Her home, inside and out, is immaculate and spectacular, unique and such a treat to 'live in for a little while'! You surely won't be disappointed staying with Maisie - she could not be a nicer person nor could she be more welcoming, helpful or accommodating! Her home is located in peaceful countryside just minutes from Kemptville. A surprising bonus to our stay with Maisie [besides her two loving feline companions!] was to discover that she and I lived in the same rural part of MB when we were young and went to the same high school!! Talk about '6 degrees of separation'!! We will most certainly look forward to another stay with our new friend, Maisie, should we travel to Kemptville again! Thanks, Maisie - you're the best! This is my 2nd stay at Vicki’s. I love the Victorian home she grew up in. It like stepping back in time and the surround area, farmlands, and towns are lovely to explore. Easy access from major road yet feels off the beaten path. I highly recommend staying here. I will be back.

I felt comfortable the moment I arrived at this lovely bed and breakfast. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space itself was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and giving me space. I truly appreciated their hospitality without feeling like my privacy was compromised. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Susan was a wonderful host! Even if I was out and about the whole weekend, she made herself available when I had questions, provided suggestions for cities to visit around North Chatham. The house is beautiful and peaceful, a heaven for birdwatchers and nature lovers!

5 of us stayed at David's place for our family ski vacation and all of us loved the location and the house. the house was as described and has so many linens and amenities. it's 30 minutes to Stratton Ski Report and 5 minutes to downtown Manchester where you can find anything, including Shaws supermarket. It's a great location and house and we are looking forward to come back to this place next year for our family vacation. Thanks

Wow, just wow. What a gorgeous place, perfect for my 3-day solo writing & business planning retreat -- perfect for solo but it really does sleep 6! It's spacious, airy, & as clean as you'd expect when you're asked to remove shoes downstairs. It's really well organized, so it's easy to find everything, esp in the kitchen. Janice & Garry were easy to reach, often responding within minutes, & were super-friendly and helpful. Within minutes we were chatting like old friends. They've done an amazing restoration of the church, designing around original architectural elements. The loft has (literally) cathedral ceilings, with original beams & joists painted bright white, all the better to reflect sunlight pouring in from the deck. Original artwork is tastefully displayed throughout, adding special warmth & interest. The climb to the bell tower is an adventure; the reward, a jewel of a meditation room, with floor-to-ceiling windows & panoramic views of river & forest. Highly recommended!

Karyl and Bob are exceptional hosts and made me feel welcome from the start to when I left. Their cottage is beautiful and their breakfast selection is unparalleled! Thank you Karyl and Bob for a memorable week vacationing in South Hero!

I will look up Julia when I return in the fall. She and her place more than met my expectations! The room was comfortable and quiet, the bathroom clean, private and well- appointed. I liked how close it was to highway 7, and to a beautiful drive up to Ripton and the Green Mountains, with easy pulloffs along the way. Julie was available, helpful and friendly.

David was a fantastic host. He is friendly, thoughtful, incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The property is beautifully kept. My room was extremely comfortable (I slept like a rock) and the bathroom super clean. It’s a luxury to be treated so well.

From the original messaging communications to the departure, Dan and Barbara made my wife and I feel right at home in their beautiful Victorian. The home is unique and in beautifully restored condition and is appointed with extreme care and thoughtfulness. The property is on a main road, which simplifies arrival, but once there, the main road is forgotten, as the rear yard away from the road is filled with beautiful flora and plantings surrounding the enormous and gorgeous rear yard with multiple peaceful sitting areas. Dan is also prone to lighting unexpected roaring fires in the rear yard hearth and fireplace. The blazes emit the perfect amount of intense heat for cool Adirondack evenings. Breakfasts by Barb and Dan were excellent and filling. All of this is rounded out by both Dan and Barbara having a true sense of just the right amount of innkeeper interaction. This is a must-stay location!

The Blue Mountain Inn is in an excellent location and the inn keeper is really a delight, helping with local tips and genuinely liking her role and having conversations with guests. The inn is right in Blue Mountain Lake; if you are looking to do hikes and be in this area, it is one of the few opportunities you have. Close to Sawyer, Blue Mountain, the museum, Long Lake and Hoss' country store, etc. The inn advertises itself accurately. It is an old inn, with its charm, and also it shows wear. I would describe it as quirky and historic, nothing fancy. It is comfortable and the inn keeper is great, and responsive. Breakfast is filling with yogurt, pancakes, bacon, and a homemade quiche each day. Read the description and see the photos. If you are looking for something fancy this is not it; if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay this is it. It's like visiting your relatives in an old farm house. You don't expect it to be perfect and find the charm. I will definitely come back here. The side porch, by the way, is amazing, especially at night as they lit it up. They even put a heater there for people like me who want to be outside at night and enjoy the surroundings and read a book.

I was late arriving and very early leaving. l did not need breakfast, but she still made coffee and banana bread. Very comfortable bed.

A wonderful and beautiful home that has space for all and the perfect amount of modern comforts in a traditional space. The hosts were proactive and friendly, giving wonderful insight to the surrounding town. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. It was a rare deep calm within the walls and I would pick this place again in a heartbeat.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! John made us feel right at home. The accommodations were impeccable. Our stay was very quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. John was so friendly and so communicative throughout the entire process. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area.

If you haven't found a reason to visit Vermont, you have one now. It's hard to describe the experience in words and do it justice. The grounds, the home, the hosts - all truly remarkable. Buts it's the breakfasts that were on another level entirely. You don't have to be a foodie to appreciate them - we certainly aren't. We'll be back. Glenn and Sonya Camp

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed chatting with Nancy and Sean and discovered we had many things in common, like living in Florida, traveling overseas, caregiving for parents, loving the outdoors. Nancy and I also both attended State University at Cortland and were both involved in athletics. Nancy’s homemade raspberry pie was incredible as was the breakfast she prepared. We enjoyed a short walk through part of the property and before we left, Nancy graciously took the time to share some of her amazing vegetable and flower gardens. We hope to return and enjoy this wonderful home.

What a beautiful space! Such an easy spot to put our trailer ! The grass was pristine and so clean ! No dirt in our trailer at all . The hosts were so kind and friendly . We shared the space with their bunkie and we could barely tell they were there ! They have both spots positioned in a way where it still feels very private ! The boat was free to use and we had a nice sunset ride followed by a lovely campfire with a great view Of the lake !

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

What an awesome place, and an awesome host! I had an eight-hour drive to make when I left. Priscilla volunteered to serve breakfast at 5:45 AM. Great breakfast. Great host. I even got to relax reading a book in front of the fireplace. It wasn't lit, but still so cool. She offered to make a fire and I declined. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Travis Lee

We had a lovely stay at this charming little farmhouse in West Edmeston. It was the perfect spot for our group of 8 adults and two babies—cozy, clean, and felt like home. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The host stays in a camper on-site, which was a bit unique, but they were respectful of our space and not intrusive at all. Overall, a peaceful, homely place with lots of character—great for a quiet countryside getaway.
