I recently stayed at Villa Marina in Padne, Kerala, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is perfect for anyone looking to relax by the beach. The villa is well-maintained, with spacious, clean rooms and modern amenities that made our stay comfortable. The private lawn was a great spot to unwind, and the serene coastal views added to the charm. The host was very attentive and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere—the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. Waking up to the sound of the waves was magical. Overall, Villa Marina offers great value for money. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat by the beach, this is definitely a place to consider. Highly recommend!

Great stay for a family reunion. Located beautifully in the midst of nature. Serene and peaceful. Highlight of the place is definitely the lake and the ‘Swing ride’ that gives you Bali feels. Host is responsive and helped us with the itinerary as well. Cook is also good and accomodating Only downside (if I can say so) is that the location is a little far from the city center and the approach road is not that great. But it was all communicated before hand by the host and tbh we didnt actually mind. It added to the charm of the place. 5 stars

Cute and cozy little place, nestled amidst coconut farm on one side and the big blue sea on the other. Really, this is peak privacy one would want during their laid back holiday without compromising any accessibility. Looking forward to staying with you guys again :)

Cloud valley: "A Heritage home built in 1895"

Hem is an amazing Host. The home is a farm house built in 1895, apparently 130 years old. If you are looking for modern amenities, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for peace, this place can definitely offer the same. We had perfect sound sleep during our stay. One suggestion to Hem, if you could somehow install mosquito nets on windows, we could open windows at night.

Unfortunately, due to unexpected weather conditions, we couldn't enjoy our trip to the fullest—but the kindness and understanding shown by the host truly stood out. The owner was incredibly accommodating and even refunded us a portion of the amount, despite not being obligated to do so. That kind of generosity is rare and deeply appreciated. It reflects a genuine concern for guests' comfort and satisfaction. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We’re really looking forward to visiting again when the weather is better and we can fully experience all it has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hospitable and honest host.
