Jan was a great host and the place is super comfortable. The location is great. I highly recommend staying here if you're out this way. A heads up to anyone booking, there is construction on University starting at the corner with the 7-11. If you're going East, be sure to be prepared for some treacherous potholes as of June 1st 2025. We discovered that if we were driving to DC that taking a right at that light and keep going straight, eventually the GPS will not have you backtrack.

On the days leading up to, and during my stay, Marian was beyond helpful in answering any questions I had. Very respectful and wonderful to communicate with. The place itself was beautiful and spotless. This place is right next to a lot of restaurants, a public area that hosts a bunch of events and community driven activities, as well as a shopping mall right down the street. Overall this was an extremely satisfying place to stay and Marian is very well deserving of a 5 star review, I would 100% recommend her to anyone thinking about staying here.

Really great place to stay that is easy to access the metro line and far enough out of the city to avoid some of the major stresses. Lots to do and see within walking distance of the house itself, only about a 10 minute walk to the train.

Olofs suite is a peaceful cozy space providing all the necessities. My family felt very relaxed and enjoyed deep sleep before each adventure. The area is beautiful with parks and creeks, and quick access to yummy cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. This space is also a peaceful walk to the metro, perfect for commuters. Thank you for sharing your space!

Completely satisfied with my stay! The location is close by many grocery stores and restaurants. Snacks and plenty of cookware is provided. Sergio was also very responsive and kind.

From the communication to the moment I walked into the unit everything was perfect! Anthonia was an amazing host and her place is in a great location close to everything! I will def stay here again in the future!

Wonderful stay. Takoma Park is a great little part of the DMV with close by amenities, including a super awesome Mexican place and local butcher with killer breakfast burritos. The apartment was just as advertised and very pleasant. Fish was a great host. Will be returning.

New to the area, my family and I stayed here while waiting for our new home to be ready. After a long drive from out of state, this place was just what we needed: clean, quiet, and affordable. Additionally, check-in instructions were easy to follow... a huge plus for some "road torn" travelers LOL.

This stay was MAGICAL. Every day we’d open the windows and the whole apartment would echo with the sound of wind between the leaves of the trees, the chatter of birds, the rustle of nature’s life outside. It is a hidden gem. We chose Alison’s place because we hoped to rest and recharge… and more than that happened. We were rested, recharged and inspired. It was homely and comfortable it was difficult to leave! We didn’t have a car, but the area was walkable and the station/metro was close. And the best part - the kitchen! I’m a chef by profession and that kitchen had everything. This is above what I’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb. Alison was super responsive and even more kind. She was genuine with her recommendations of places to see.

Me and my fiancé had a great stay and enjoyed the surrounding area. It was very peaceful and the views at night were amazing. Would recommend!

Katerina and Gus were outstanding hosts. They were very responsive to questions and while they were present upstairs in their space, they were not intrusive at all. The studio apartment was pristine and comfortable. it had a small coffee maker and microwave and microwave and full refrigerator. It was clean and comfortable and cozy. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, lovely to walk in and convenient to restaurants. We found it helpful that we had a rental car. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

This place was perfect for my short stay in DC! The apartment was spotless and decorated beautifully. I appreciated the clear check-in instructions and quick responses from the hosts whenever I had a question. The stocked fridge was also a nice touch that I appreciated after a long drive! We loved staying at Hidden Gardens. It was very clean and Noris made it extra special with all her personal touches to make us feel very special. The garden out back is very relaxing and just beautiful. We loved sitting out there and enjoying all the beautiful flowers and greenery. Noris is an excellent host and amazing person. She made us feel special and we felt right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Noris is a “super-host”.

We stayed one month at Saber's place. The place had all the basic things we needed. The location was great for using the metro and buses to DC. We walked to Georgetown and National Mall. There were plenty of good restaurants around and Safeway and Target nearby. We were two females, but felt safe walking around the area and even at night. Saber was proactive in communicating and responded quickly to questions.

Place was just as described and worked out great for a place to stay down the street from the Gaylord.

Although parking was on the street, it was very safe and it was easy to find a parking spot. We were so happy with the location and very close to the capital. Neighbors were very friendly and a charming neighborhood.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend to others! Great place! Better than the pictures!
