Cabin vacation rentals in Addison County

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

The cabin was super cozy and had all the amenities for a lovely stay in a truly magical place. We were there in late spring and the hiking in the area was spectacular. Would highly recommend the cabin and location. The cabin had a notebook with helpful suggestions for restaurants and stuff to do in the area which was really helpful. The hosts were responsive with any questions we had.

My husband and I had the perfect R&R getaway here! It rained the whole time but the hot tub was a wonderful touch, on a cold/dreary day. The house had everything we needed for our stay and the short walk to Blueberry Lake was very peaceful. Highly recommend!

My mom and I recently stayed at the Robert Frost Mountain Cabins and had the most lovely time. The cabin was adorable and extremely comfortable. We were happy to be snowed in for the weekend and just enjoyed the lovely nature all around us. We loved it so much we plan on coming back this summer.

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

I cannot put into words how much I recommend this place. The cabin is just LOVELY and so cute!! Such an amazing location and the hosts were just so welcoming and helpful. Absolute 10/10 experience with zero negative feedback. Would return in a heartbeat.

I had such a peaceful stay at this incredibly charming spot. I brought my dog, Clover, and we spent nearly every moment on the deck, soaking up the view of the lake and watching the birds. The setting was serene, quiet, and just what I needed to reset. The home itself was cozy and full of character, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I’m so grateful for the care that went into this place, it truly felt like a little lakeside retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

Cabin #4 felt like home the moment we walked through the door. We made last minute reservations and it was stress free all the way around with Marty & Carol leading the way. Much to our delight - part of our stay included a fresh breakfast treat delivered warm right on the door step. And the cabin was stocked with coffee and tea to enjoy with it. They have truly thought of everything and the cabin is literal perfection. We are really looking forward to a longer stay next time. Thank you for having us ☺️

The stay was fantastic. The cabin is located in a perfect area surrounded by the woods, beautiful trails, a sauna and just so much greenery we couldn't believe it. The cabin itself was incredibly well put together, had everything you'd need and then some. Jess was very accommodating and answered every question we had. 100% recommend!

Best vacation I've had in years. I have traveled quite a bit but never used Airbnb before. I included this in my initial message. Darren made sure to give clear and precise instructions that made everything from start to finish so easy and comfortable. The pics don't do the property justice. As beautiful as the photos look, in person everything is magnified by a hundred. My two pups also loved VT and they really enjoyed chasing each other around the property. If you would be so kind as to host us again, we would definitely be back!!

The location of the cabin was great! Very easy to get to both Middlebury, Burlington & even Stowe. The pond was beautiful. Cabin was actually larger than we expected. While it was a bit chilly for us to use the porch, I could imagine getting a lot of use of that space in warmer times. We had been worried about the road as we have a very low clearance sedan, but it was not a problem at all. It was really nice to have the washer available and there were plenty of pots to cook with. Heat was toasty. Cabin was rustic but very clean. The only real drawback for us was that we didn't know we couldn't drink the water before coming to the cabin. We hike a lot and cook as well, so we go through more water than probably the average person. We ran out of the provided water, but didn't want to bother Pam (even though I am sure she would have brought more water as she was very kind). Knowing ahead, we just would have brought extra.

This cabin is so wonderful! I was amazed by the architecture. For two people, it felt spacious, comfortable, romantic, got warm quickly and stayed warm. You can tell that it is a meticulously and expertly designed, well-cherished home. Even the decor, much of which is from local artisans, felt thoughtful and personal. The views are absolutely unmatched, as they are throughout the surrounding area. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. Early October was the ideal time to come, as the foilage was stunning. I really enjoyed my stay and absolutely want to come again. It felt like such a luxury to doze on the couch by the warm light of the wood stove after a dinner of local produce from the farmers market. My only wish was that it was more secluded. Other people were camping on the property and were viewable from the windows on both nights we stayed. However, given that the cabin was up on a hill, this did not disturb our privacy. Beautiful getaway! Can't wait to be back.

Fantastic stay. Was greeted with very clear directions/instructions and a gift! There was heavy snow during our stay, and we even got help with shoveling snow. Not to mention a very cozy cabin and beds. A+!

I had seen the photos online and read the reviews but actually staying in a cabin at Leah & Duane’s bed and breakfast was better than I imagined! We were in Vermont for a wedding and wanted to stay somewhere that would accommodate our dog so we could hike and explore the area with him. We got in town late Friday night and Duane stayed up to show us up to the cabin. They even prepped the fireplace for us knowing it was going to be a chilly evening. They have great local items available for continental breakfast (the yogurt parfaits are the best I’ve ever had) and cook delicious hot breakfast as well. We didn’t have to go far to hike as there were trails on the property. The cabin was clean and cozy. I highly recommend any visitors to the area to stay here and hope we can come back in the future!

The cottage was cozy and cute. Had all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend. Directions were clear and the location was very accessible and central to all major attractions and highways.
