A great beautiful old, rustic farmhouse in Friesland. Does this sound like music to your ears? Then this is the cottage for you! The house is divided into two living possibilities. Downstairs is often inhabited by the owners, but upstairs is a fully enclosed theater attic, which also serves fantastic as a living area. Then it is a living room and kitchen together, where you can play games or watch movies on big screen. Obligatory tourist tax:€1.25ppn, to be paid on site

Farmhouse Okkingastate

Get away from it all? This is possible on our 200-year-old farmhouse close to the Wadden Coast and the eleven cities of Harlingen and Franeker. In the Voorhuis we have a spacious guesthouse overlooking the meadows, our cows and the old apple court. We work organically and as much as possible with nature. If you stay with us, you can discover and experience the farm life, the Wadden Coast (Unesco World Heritage) and Friesland, completely in your own rhythm. Welcome!

Get away from it all in the Frisian countryside. We live wonderfully free, an ideal base for hikers, cyclists and readers. The Waddendijk is within walking distance (1.5 km) and in the village (1 km) is the renowned Pizzeria Pingjum. Studio Pekelvisch consists of a simple space on the ground floor and a sleeping loft above. Compact, tough furnished with lots of old building materials. Don't expect lavish luxury, but authenticity, charm and soothing tranquility.

The apartment Út fan hús has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with fridge and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The town of Sneek is a 15-minute drive away, while Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive away.

Rural stay on Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the city center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Elfstedenroute, is our rural farm. We offer you a spacious room in this rural and watery area, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/sitting area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is available. We have recently realized this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

We have this fully renovated, spacious apartment at our disposal and would like to let our guests enjoy it. Tzummarum is a cozy village and a great base for trips to, for example, Franeker, Harlingen (Wadden Islands), Leeuwarden or the lake area. In the rural surroundings of Tzummarum, it is wonderful for cycling, hiking and motorcycling.
