The Garden House at Old Semeil, Strathdon

CorienRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The Garden House is a beautiful hidden place surrounded by a wild, colourful garden. We loved to sit outside and enjoy the smells of numerous flowers and the sounds of birds and insects. The house itself was more spacious than I had expected. Taking a bath after a day of hiking was a treat.

Secluded chalet on a quiet family farm

StewartRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The chalet surpassed our expectations and is ideally situated. It is close to Aberdeen (20 minutes drive to City Centre) but in a rural location. Paddy and Catherine are both lovely people with a very interesting back-story. They were attentive but not overbearing throughout our visit

Location perfect, the Spey in all it's glory is one minute walk away, golden eagle a great spot. To top it off the Ballindalloch Viaduct 1863, grade A listed and a scheduled monument, a gateway to the Speyside Wayis a minute away. Comfortable, well appointed accommodation. we had a great stay and super lucky with the weather.
