Barn vacation rentals in Aare

The place was clean and it had enough space for us 8 people. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. Instructions were clear and simple. Sandra always responded quickly when we had a question and she even found a bratwurst place nearby for us and documented it with pictures. Thank you very much for that! It is a quiet place, which we were also looking for. What should be specified a little more precisely is where the disposal for the garbage in the village is. But that's also the only thing we could "complain about". Thank you so much for letting us come by. All the best.

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was just the perfect size for our family-cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The garden was a real highlight: beautifully kept and very welcoming, a great space for both kids and adults to relax. Everything was spotless and clean, and the quiet surroundings made it ideal for our children’s bedtime. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the essential drinks that were provided to the baby crib offered for our little one. We had a very nice stay with the family. We appreciated the calm of the place and the discretion of our host who was attentive and responsive to us. Everything you needed was in the accommodation. We recommend +++

The accommodation is a very lovingly renovated cottage from an old barn, as is typical for the Lötschental. The pictures give a good impression of it. Bright and very spacious and equipped with everything you need. There were only two of us, but even for four there is enough of everything (e.g. dishes, cutlery, space). Bakery and pub (Dorfkeller) are close by. We did not meet Ole and Silvia personally, but communication was always quick and easy and self-check-in via the key box was convenient because we could not determine our arrival time in advance. With the guest card, which is valid for every booked day, you get great discounts (e.g. bus, gondola, museum, mini golf free of charge). Also recommended are the audio tours in the villages. We were particularly pleased with the personal welcome :-)

An old barn renovated with great taste and charm, functional amenities. Nothing was missing and we felt like we were at a friend's house! Very peaceful environment with lake views. Very good cheese shop nearby. A great stay!

The welcome was very warm and the first beer in the bar was on the house. The room is spacious and has a huge bathroom with plenty of towels. Everything is very clean! Highly recommended.

I've been using Airbnb for 3 years, and this is the first time I've stayed in such a nice house. The Host was very friendly, provided everything, and spoke four languages. Very luxurious decoration, great value for money. Our family was very satisfied. It's very early in Switzerland, and it would be perfect if the room could provide curtains to block the sun.

It was a nice place to stay, and had sufficient space for all of our group.

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend for two in the Spycher. The place was very spacious, but beware of the lower beams. The wood creates a pleasant atmosphere with the direct & indirect lighting. It has something adventurous with toilet/shower and kitchenette outside. Angela was a great host and we can only recommend the accommodation. I'm sure we'll be back. Top Weekend! Regards, Ana

Sarah was incredibly kind and helpful! She always responded promptly and helped us with all our requests! The place is really spacious, new and modern. Absolutely recommended for families, even with very young children. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen is very well stocked. We'd love to come back in the future.

A fantastic chalet, immaculate inside and out. The owner was engaging from the point of entry and responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue. Despite being out the country on holiday, he resolved the issue without delay. 5 star property with a 5 star host.

We loved to stay in Elena's Ecohouse. The house was nice, impeccable clean, cosy and situated in a green neighborhood in the western part of Zürich. We could park the car nearby and could reach the whole of Zürich easily with public transport. The only thing that visitors should know is that the house has two (double bed) rooms but that they are not completely privat. The rooms are on different levels but are (partly) open spaces and those sleeping in the upper level need to pass through the lower bedroom to go to the bathroom. Anyway, for us that was clear beforehand as it was visible on the photos and on the plan that is given with the description. I would definitely stay in Elena's house again.

A beautiful, large house and very tastefully furnished. But the terrace was our absolute highlight! Even in the rain you can linger outside. However, the house is not very suitable for holidays without a car. The post bus stops right in front of the house, but it only runs on weekdays, three times in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. Sylvain and his family are very attentive and generous hosts. Warm thanks for your trust🌞!

the room is large and comfortable. In addition, bath towels are offered which is perfect. Morning coffee with Sophie was very good and friendly. Sophie is cool and communicative. Enjoyed our night at her place. Parking in front.

We really enjoyed our stay as Gasard’s place. It was spacious, decor was on point, 2 bath rooms meant our family of 5 didn’t have to wait for one another.

We were cross-country skiing and enjoyed the location right by the train station and nearby trails. The place is very nice and practical! In the large garage, in addition to the car, there is also space for skis and sleighs. For our 3 year old it also had many toys and books to discover... We will be happy to come back...

Rosa is an amazing host. The property and the surrounding village is beautiful and peaceful while a 15 minute drive to Villars. Also, the kitchen was the nicest and most well-stocked of any rental property I've ever used. Thank you!
