Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Aalst

After 8 years on Airbnb, this is my first long review. The window was broken, and due to strong wind I caught a bad flu that I’m still recovering from. The host was very rude. I stayed two nights, and on the last night I asked for the WiFi password—he replied by demanding to know when I was leaving and insisted on checkout by 11 a.m. I had planned everything assuming I could stay until 2 p.m., and politely asked if that was possible. He responded aggressively, threatened to report me to Airbnb, and falsely claimed he let me check in early (I arrived at 3 p.m., on time). I left by 10:30 a.m. regardless. I’ve stayed in many countries through Airbnb and never encountered this level of disrespect. I’m not writing this to hurt his business, but to encourage a little more politeness and professionalism in how guests are treated.

The apartment is very beautiful, everything looks new and clean. It is super spacious and has everything you may need for your stay. The only thing that could be improved is the space for the toilet, as it is somewhat uncomfortable. But the rest of the accommodation is extremely comfortable and of excellent quality.

Lovely space with easy access to everything in Gent. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. Nicely decorated, spacious, clean, and comfortable.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this beautifully refurbished building. Winny was very communicative and welcoming. He and Ruth have a wonderful thing going on with their properties! We wished we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you, Winnie and Ruth, for making our stay in such a lovely place possible.

Wonderful apartment! Beautiful and clean. Location only a little far from the center, but it is about 10 minutes walk to the metro that takes you to the center. The only downside is that the building is very noisy. We heard the upstairs neighbors in the evening. Apart from that, slept wonderfully.

That was a nice area. Shops were close. Town was relatively close. Located right by a train station so you can take it. Philip was a very nice host and he responded quickly and efficiently when we needed him.

The accommodation was in perfect condition, as described and impeccably clean. The accommodation is well located in relation to the city center, you can get there on foot or by bus. Communication with the host was smooth and the instructions very clear. I would recommend this property for a few days with family.

We had a fantastic time it was absolutely as described the pool was warm and we made full use of the basement pool table and the amazing cinema. Stijin was there to greet us and explain everything about the property. There were 6 of us 4 adults and two children lots of space . Would highly recommend anybody to rent this place for a perfect stay in Gent

Great location for trips to Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp. The apartment is complete with many amenities and space bedroom, bathroom, separate kitchen and living room. Annelies is hospitable, complete in her instruction and friendly in her communication. We enjoyed from start to finish and look back on a fantastic Pentecost weekend. Ria is a very friendly host, super responsive and helpful. Her place is a great choice for people looking to reconnect with nature and slow down. The apartment has an outstanding design. My favourite was the bathroom. There are numerous walking and biking routes available, as well as nice restaurants in nearby towns. Highly recommend!

It is very close to the airport and very convenient to go to the airport. We stay here every time we travel from China to Europe or leave from Europe. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is very convenient and the room is comfortable.Totally recommend it.

Lovely historical cottage, very clean with a nice private yard and beautiful surroundings. It was peaceful and quiet and a nice reprieve from the bustling cities we had been in. We enjoyed a long, leisurely walk into town. Xavier and Sofie were wonderful hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay in the vibrant city of Antwerp. Hannes's apartment was beautiful, spacious, very comfortable and with secure underground car parking. It's in a lovely location, a few minutes from the heart of the city by public transport, Velo bike, or on foot. Hannes was an attentive and responsive host, answering messages and making great suggestions about the local area and its amenities. We would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to visit Antwerp.

Hilde’s place was perfect for a Ghent city break! Super easy to get to from the main train station by tram, mere meters from the tram stop and a delightful walk along the canal into the old town. The apartment is beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend, old town was so busy with people it was so nice being able to go back to Hildes peaceful place at the end of the day after exploring!

This was our second stay at Lieve's place during the past few months because of the exceptional accommodations, location, and excellent hospitality. Lieve's Airbnb continues to be one of the best, if not THE best, place we have stayed at in many years at Airbnbs. The place is immaculately clean, has all the comforts of home, and is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and all the great places you may want to see. Best of all, you will experience Lieve's warm hospitality. During both stays, she greeted us upon our arrival with a warm smile and a box of excellent Belgian chocolate, which we enjoyed immensely. She provided complete instructions for everything in the apartment. She was responsive to any requests we had during our stay. She even arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station for our departure. You will be hard pressed to find a better place than this Airbnb in Brussels. We are already planning on returning and staying at Lieve's place.

From the outset, I would like to highlight the immense personal service that Aitor provided to me by agreeing to have a package intended for me delivered to him. He did it with a good heart. Very easy to communicate with. It was reassuring to know that we could count on him if needed. The accommodation is really fantastic and the proximity to the metro/tram is an undeniable advantage. We knew there were stairs to access the accommodation but we didn't pay attention to the fact that it's the equivalent of a third floor. Less convenient with heavy suitcases and two friends walking with a cane. There is only one bathroom and it is in one of the two bedrooms. It's a little inconvenient at night when you want to respect the privacy of the person sleeping there and you don't want to wake them up. Very well-equipped kitchen. Washer with soap. I recommend it without hesitation and a big thank you Aitor!
