The 2-room apartment is equipped with an open kitchen-living room. A coffee maker and all utensils for a longer stay are provided. The bathroom has a shower, tub, toilet and bidet. The bedroom with balcony is on the quiet courtyard side. A separate guest toilet, TV and private Internet connection are available. The entrance to the apartment is in the rear building. I don't like hidden costs and therefore everything is included in my price, only for a 3rd person an additional charge is specified.

Christoph’s apartment suited me completely for my needs. I needed a base to attend the Messe so didn’t spend much time there but as a comfortable space just to be in the city, it was fine. Will be back in two years if available

Ursel is an exceptional superhost, providing a magnificent classical apartment situated in a delightful 19th-century house. My room was elegantly furnished, and I slept like a baby in the incredibly comfortable bed. The bright, sunlit room was clean and peaceful. During my trip to Köln, having a host like Ursel made for an extraordinary experience. She is incredibly empathetic and possesses a wealth of knowledge to share.

An inviting balcony is adorned with various potted plants, including flowers and greenery. The lush backdrop features trees that create a serene environment. A small, round table and a chair add to the cozy outdoor space, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Room in a very quiet university location

Staying with Ursula felt like staying with family. From the moment she greeted me (at midnight(!) after a long flight), I knew that my stay would be something different. We enjoyed many long conversations, and she kindly offered to share in her food a few times (Ursula is a superb gardener). The room is simple but had everything I needed - a place to sleep, a closet, and a desk for occasional work. The bathroom is not connected to the room but it’s private, so that was comfortable as well. The rest of the house is lovely, I cooked several meals in the kitchen and hung up my laundry on the balcony. The location is quiet, walking distance to the university and amply connected by public transport to the central station (20 minutes) and anywhere else you need to go. Altogether I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I’m glad I had the opportunity to meet such a lovely and kind soul.

Erik was a lovely host! The space was clean and organized and well maintained. I particularly appreciated that he maintained a respectful distance while being open to conversation. The location is nice, not too far from the city center and is well-connected to public transport. There are also a lot of eating options around that I didn't get to explore but seemed good. I have no complaints at all, I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Cologne, and I'd happily book again if the opportunity arises.

I stayed at Karla's place during the conference and I'm glad I did it. The location was great with lots of good restaurants around and close to the university, and the place was just as described - clean and well organized with all the essentials. Karla was very communicative every time and flexible with the check-in time as well as I arrived early in the morning. Definitely recommend!

Sandra’s place was the perfect pied a terre in Koln. Easy, quick walk to the train station, great neighbourhood within a few blocks, the room was clean, modern and quiet. I was able to get my laundry done quickly and economically. Sandra even made a dinner reservation for me. For those with large bags or mobility issues, there are some stairs (just two flights to my room). I’m coming back when next in Koln!
