Han's place is spotless and quite quiet for such a central location. The apartement was very clean and comfortable- The AC and washer-dryer are a blessing in the heart of London. Own bathroom with great amenities. We didn't meet Han as he was traveling but he was very responsive.

An entrance door features classic architectural details, including a decorative pediment and symmetrical columns. The green door is framed by white trim and a rounded window above. A wrought iron gate stands to one side, adding to the historical character of the building.

It was lovely to meet Helen, and she was a warm and attentive host. The house is of historic interest in central Bloomsbury, very near to public transport and easily walkable to the British Library (my main destination!).

Even with our experience renting AirBnb’s, we can only learn so much from the descriptions. We were pleasantly surprised with the many added niceties that aren’t listed, and you don’t find in many places. Sharp knives, paper towels, hand towels in the kitchen and bath, extra toilet paper, “real” personal touches, cleaning supplies, character. It’s an older flat, so there is plenty of character and the decor was fun. Not some IKEA make over you find in many places. The kitchen is in a cupboard (we’d never seen this before). If your thing is complicated food prep, this isn’t for you. We made simple breakfasts, snacks and reheated leftovers and it worked fine. SoHo is a vibrant part of town with tons of nightlife, especially on the weekends. So it is noisy. However, the bedroom is in the back and sleeping wasn’t an issue as long as the windows and bedroom door were closed. Many popular sights are within a mile or two. This is a great apartment. It is located in the very center of London's cultural life. We had a great weekend. We hope to return to this apartment again.
