Apartment “ a lovely spot” has a wood stove as the main heater. So in case of cold, it has to be fired. Breakfast in the morning sun. The fridge is richly stocked for breakfast, the sandwiches are served in the morning at the desired time. You will sleep on the upper floor, which can be reached via a narrow! spiral staircase. Yvonne is an attentive and friendly hostess. Fast and nice communication. Slept wonderfully. Nice place to stay, actually suitable for longer stays than our long weekend. Like a private living room/kitchen. We were surprised that we were allowed to borrow electric bicycles. Perfect. Location, wonderfully quiet. Close to the center and many opportunities to visit nature. Would recommend it to our family!

We had a wonderful midweek in the Trupial. Everything looked neat and tidy and we had a real home feeling, a good comfortable sofa to sit on and a nice separate dining area. Everything you could think of that you need during a stay was present. A wonderfully comfortable bed and a nice garden to sit in, all day long visits from various birds on the feed silos and even a squirrel that came to eat every day. The area is also very beautiful, we are very familiar with the area because we have had a chalet there for years, the bike route to the south via Boerderij Mossel to Ede and back via the more western bike path is always a nice route to do, and of course a visit to Park de Hoge Veluwe. All in all a very successful week and a good chance that we will come back to John & Marquerite.

We think Zeddam is a beautiful area where you can enjoy hiking and biking. In the immediate vicinity, you will find hills, forest, polder, riverscape. Various places in Germany are also easy to reach. We did not use the car during our stay. Various restaurants are in walking distance. A good butcher and a supermarket are nearby. In the apartment, all the necessities are available to cook, stay, etc. We felt right at home there. Everything was also done to make us feel comfortable. In short, we can recommend this apartment to anyone.

We had a really wonderful time in this beautiful apartment! It is in a beautiful old building, but is modern but cozy inside. Nice big bed, spacious kitchen and a nice sitting area with large TV, chromecast etc. You step out the door and are in the center of Zutphen, very convenient! Johan is a very friendly, attentive host who even arranged a camping bed for our 1-year-old daughter. We felt very welcome ☺️

We enjoyed our days at Werner's and Friederike's house thoroughly and we highly recommend to stay with them.
