We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful and it felt really special to stay somewhere so beautiful. The view from the window, across the canal made it extra special. Lots to see and do within walking distance, with excellent places to eat or just stop off for coffee and a cake. Our host was really helpful and check in and check out was seamless. Would absolutely recommend.

Central Historic Gem Apt

A great place for a couple to stay in Amsterdam, great restaurants, lots of sights in walking distance and very close to the railway station. This made access from the airport on public transport very easy. The apartment is spacious, modern and very clean. The downstairs bedroom is very comfortable with an excellent en suite shower room and free from noise as it is below ground level. As advertised, it is accessed down a steep spiral staircase which was fine, but would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen has a fridge, and an espresso coffee machine which allowed us to make a simple continental breakfast. There are no facilities to cook food, but there are many excellent restaurants within yards, of the front door so treat yourself!! For those who like a Dutch dining experience, we would recommend Van Speyk which is next door ( where we went twice). Food, service and ambiance excellent both times. Thanks again Raul and Atilla for making our city break wonderful

We hebben 3 heerlijke weken gehad in Weidezicht. Het gastenverblijf voelt privé door het omheinde terras. De keuken is handig gescheiden in de studio en door het hoge plafond voelt het zeer ruimtelijk aan. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd en gezellig ingericht. Annemarie is een fijne gastvrouw die snel reageert. Kortom een aanrader!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij gehad in de stadstuin! De foto's in de advertentie doen de ruimte eigenlijk geen recht aan; ruimer, lichter en mooier. Perfect afgewerkt met oog voor detail, passend in de sfeer.(De lichtknopjes b.v. het lampje op het toilet of de glazen. Ik heb daar echt van genoten.) Wij waren aan het werk op een festival en waar we normaal niet zo goed slapen in een "vreemd" bed, zijn we hier als een blok in slaap gevallen om pas met de wekker wakker te worden. Een heerlijk matras dus. Sonja was super vriendelijk en duidelijk en kwam ons zelfs even opzoeken toen we aan het werk waren. Wellicht tot de volgende Onderstroom.😉

Beautiful views of the canal facing the west, which made for some great sunsets!! We loved relaxing on the couch with the windows open enjoying the breeze after a long day walking around Amsterdam. Great location, very walkable and easily accessed by the tram from the central station. Veronika is a gracious host and communicated very promptly. The traditional Dutch stairs are steep and I was happy she had given a heads up as I packed in a backpack instead of my usual rolling bag.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung. Unser Sohn war fasziniert vom Hühnerstall und dem Hängebauchschwein, das uns beim Frühstück draussen besuchen kam. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hat uns Hinweise zur Unterkunft und dem Ablauf gegeben. Unser Highlight war die Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer aufs Feld und der außenliegende Whirlpool. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, stylisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es war alles da. Die Lage ist top, sehr nah dran an Amsterdam und an Utrecht. Es sind viele Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter. Beste Grüße

Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar.
