One Night in the Desert of Zagora on BB

Very nice tent stay in the desert near Zagora. The tents are 15 minutes away from Zagora and the trip can be made by car or by camel. The dinner served was a delicious tajine and a breakfast was served in the morning. The camel ride is a great addition as well.
A group of individuals on camels is seen traversing the open desert landscape. The camels stand in a line, with some riders wearing traditional attire. The terrain features golden sand and sparse vegetation under a clear blue sky, highlighting the vastness of the desert.

erg chegaga luxury camps

Experience of a lifetime. Our host was perfect. The location is nearer the smaller of the great dunes but this is a good thing because there is no other camps around and you truely feel you are in the wilderness.

Nomadic Tents

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an unforgettable time with Tarik and his team near Zagora, in the middle of the desert. The camp was beautifully located and very lovingly designed. The overnight stay was comfortable, the food super delicious and the evening entertainment just fantastic – with music, dance and really good atmosphere under the stars. Breakfast was also plentiful and very delicious. There are various possibilities for leisure activities in the camp, so it never gets boring. On Tarik's recommendation, we drove deeper into the desert on the second day and spent another night there – a unique experience! Communication with Tarik was smooth at all times. He is an incredibly warm and friendly host who really cares about his guests. Thank you for this special time – we will be happy to come back!

This bivouac is very well kept. The welcome was impeccable and the kindness present throughout the stay Tents are comfortable and very clean as well as sanitary facilities Meals were excellent and we even had the surprise of having a magician who animated the evening and an orchestra to dance together. Remarkable evening with cherry on the cake a campfire to dream under the stars In short, I highly recommend it and I will be happy to come back Thanks again to Mohamad and his team
A nighttime view of the eco camp in the Sahara Desert is captured under a starry sky. Warm light glows from the tents, revealing a private and serene atmosphere, while the vast expanse of dunes stretches into the distance.

Ecological Camp Adounia

Emma's camp was wonderful. It's located about 40 minutes out of town and quite secluded. I've never seen so many start before! The camp hosts were extremely welcoming and tried their best to make us feel welcome. My kids loved playing in the dunes and "sandboard" down the steepest ones. It was also fun to just wander in the desert and aim for a big dune in the distance. Very peaceful. The food was good although not quite as good as the pictures in the listing. Some pictures are also from other locations which is a bit deceiving. Once you are at the camp, you really don't want to go back to town as the drive is quite bumpy. Most people seem to come for 1 or 2 nights and do a short camel ride. We had to pay extra to get from M'hamid to the camp even though the listing implies it's included.
A low wooden table is surrounded by decorative floor cushions on a patterned rug. In the background, nomadic tents are visible against the sandy dunes and scattered trees. The scene captures a relaxed gathering in a serene desert landscape.

Zagora Desert Travel Camp

clean bivouac in the middle of the dunes .... note that it's not easy to find the bivouac that you have to report to the agency in the city center so that you can go together to the bivouac be in your own transport be in transport from the team
A gentle slope of vibrant red sand rises sharply against a clear blue sky, where silhouettes of four individuals can be seen atop the dune, enjoying the view of the setting sun. The horizon is highlighted by warm golden hues as daylight fades.

Hamza's camp was the perfect escape from the stress of the Moroccan cities. He provided tasty affordable food and lots of useful local advice. He even took us on a fun, great value overnight trip to the desert. Thanks again, Hamza
