Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Żabbar

There is something magical about staying in the heart of Mdina!! And despite the impracticalities, we’d happily do it again!! This place is a real unique find!!!! We loved being able to walk around after the tourists had left and enjoy the magic of the place. It’s really ‘money can’t buy’ stuff. The property is exactly as described - not for you if you want luxury and all the modern conveniences - it’s quirky and a bit of an odd layout. It can also be a bit of a challenge with parking/traffic - we struggled one day and can’t imagine what it might be like in the height of summer. Would highly recommend coming up the back way to Greek’s Gate via Triq l-Għarreqin. I would say from 7am - 9pm it can be quite loud, but we were out and about so didn’t bother us. It may sound like we’re being negative, but we’re not… we just think this property deserves guests who appreciate it for what it is and don’t expect it to be something else. Very nice apartment well located near the city centre of La Valetta. we had a great time and we highly recommend it. Félix was also very helpful and answered quickly our questions. thank you for having us in Malta. We will come back for sure.

This is the perfect location to start exploring Maltese history. The place is more than good, especially the bathroom!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Lucy. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter les 3 cités, et à proximité du ferry pour se rendre à La Valette. La maison est typique maltaise, très charmante et la rue est joli et calme. Le toit terrasse est un plus, fort agréable pour profiter des soirées. Il est facile de se garer à proximité. Lucy est de plus une hôte très réactive et disponible pour répondre à toutes les questions. Lucy met a disposition un classeur avec toutes les recommandations nécessaires pour passer un excellent séjour : restaurants, plages, sites à visiter, etc. Des adaptateurs sont également disponibles dans son logement pour les prises européennes. Nous recommandons vivement Lucy et son logement pour un séjour sur Malte !

Dom ma niesamowity klimat, szczególnie wrażenie robi taras, okna i basen. Środek wygląda lepiej niż na zdjęciach. Gospodarz był elastyczny co do godzin zameldowania i wymeldowania co było ogromnym plusem.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans ce petit cocon très paisible et décoré avec goût, et nous en sommes ravie ! Nicholas est très arrangeant et attentionné, il met tout en place pour que votre voyage se passe à merveille. La climatisation est très appréciée, ainsi que le jacuzzi. Une adresse que je recommande fortement pour un séjour réussi 😊👍🏼

My friends and I had the best stay following the end of our academic semester! The place was perfect for us and tucked into such a nice area. There was a lot to see and do in a Birgu, but also super easy to get to Valleta and other surrounding areas. We spent some of our evenings on the roof! The house was extremely comfortable and we felt settled and taken care of upon arrival! 10/10 😊

Barbara and Davide’s place was perfect for exploring Malta! The house is lovely with everything you might need, gorgeous views from the rooftop terrace and their communication is 10/10. It was really easy to get into the home, and it was easy to find. The ferry point right outside made it perfect for exploring Valletta and there were some really amazing restaurants practically on the doorstep. I would 100% recommend!

Lovely apartment in the small fishing village of Marsaxlokk. The apartment was very spacious and clean, situated on a quiet street. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Richard was very quick replying to our requests. The instructions he sent for finding and checking in were very detailed.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 14 Männern bei einem Junggesellenenabschied in der Villa. Es hat wirklich alles sehr gut geklappt. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend! Zwei kleine Supermärkte ca. 2 min Fußweg die das Nötigste auf jeden Fall vor Ort haben. Eine 5 min Uber Fahrt brachte uns zum nächsten größeren Supermarkt, zu Fuß ca. 15 min. Zum Strand gelangt man in ca. 5 min zu Fuß, in die nächstgelegene, größere Stadt mit Restaurants sind es 15 min. Die Kommunikation war stets hervorragend, ein kleine Manko war lediglich, dass die Kurtaxe und die Gebühr für die Nutzung der Klimaanlage in bar bezahlt werden mussten. Wir hatten aber zum Glück noch etwas Bargeld da. Was ich auf gar keinen Fall bestätigen kann sind die vielen Kakerlaken oder die Nachbarn die sich beschweren. Wenn man darauf achtet, die Türen und Fenster nach sich zu schließen und mit der Lautstärke nicht übertreibt, hat man hier auch keine Probleme. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen sowie Malta an sich!

Cristina i Lorenzo son uns amfitrions increïbles! Al apartament no li falta de res, han cuidat tots els detalls, a les fotos ja es veia bonic, però al natural és molt millor. Està molt ben situat, en una zona molt tranquil·la i amb plaça de garatge. Tot estava impecable, molt net i amb molts detalls que van fer que la nostra estada fos simplement fantàstica. Els llits comodíssims. A la cuina hi havia de tot (fins i tot oli, càpsules de cafè, detergents..), completament equipada i molt moderna. La terrassa és ideal per a relaxar-te. Recomano aquest apartament al 100%. Cristina, Lorenzo, moltes gràcies per la vostra hospitalitat, hem passat uns dies genials a casa vostra.

Really well appointed apartment in a quiet area but within walking distance of the restaurants, cafes and everything that Marsaskala has to offer. To visit the rest of Malta it’s worth renting a car. Howard was a great host. Very responsive to requests and questions.

We had a brilliant stay the apartment was spacious and comfortable and the view and the patio amazing. We very much enjoyed the area and visiting the local restaurants which are very varied and convenient. The beach below the apartment is rocky but with a lovely clear sea for swimming or there is a sandy beach 10 minutes walk. The only improvement would be a shower over the bath in the main bathroom, not a problem for us but if more people were staying? Our only regret we were not staying longer!

Our stay at the apartment was great. Our flight landed late at night and John, the host, organised a taxi to get us to the apartment so there was no hassle. Check in and out was really easy. John was super responsive and friendly and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The apartment was in a great location for us. It was very quiet for sleeping but only a short walk to the ferry terminal to Valletta and bus stop so you can easily explore Malta. The apartment was clean and had everything you could need (iron, hairdryer, beach towels etc). Little kitchen was great although we didn’t use it much as found lots of great places to eat out. We met John briefly before as we picked up our bags before our flight and he was just as lovely in person. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved our stay in Marsaskala! The apartment met our expectations and it was amazing to come into the unit and be greeted with the sight of the be ight blue bay! We definitely enjoyed the deck. Inside it was clean and spacious. Marsaskala was a good choice-away from the crowds and lots of choices for restaurants that we easily walked to. We rented a car and were able to find parking close by. Christine was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!!

The house is very comfortable and better than the pictures, Matthew and his family are the best host possible! Highly recommend!

Such a great find, we loved the pool and hot tub! Rooms were clean and we pretty much had everything we needed. Location perfect for what we wanted and was easy to get about with Bolt. Local area not the prettiest but good selection of restaurants/bars and we had a an amazing time and can highly recommended

We only spent 2 nights but this place was great! Very nice spacious apartment.

Lovely, spacious apartment that was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Really well located too, with a supermarket immediately next door and lots of shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. If you’re up for a longer walk you can even get to Sliema within 15 minutes. Really easy to jump a taxi to Valletta and anywhere else on the island too, or there’s a bus stop right outside the supermarket. Jane was a super host, letting us check-in early and responding within seconds to rescue us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the building!

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

Appartement très bien situé avec une vue sur le port très agréable. Station familiale loin des touristes. Très propre et extrêmement bien agencé avec tout le nécessaire. Je recommande à 100%. Très réactif le papa !

J'ai passé 3 semaines dans ce logement, parfait en tous points. Matthew est très réactif et prend soin de ses locataires. Il y avait de la nourriture et de l'eau pour débuter le séjour, c'est un geste très appréciable. Je recommande ce logement et si je reviens à Malte je sais déjà où je séjournerai ! Merci Matthew !

Absolutely stunning apartment! Convenient location for the airport and a perfectly situated central location for day trips around the island. Great for family groups travelling together. Catherine is a wonderful host and was so friendly and helpful. Our only regret was that we only booked to stay for one night, everything was so perfect, we wished we'd booked to stay for longer!

Fantastic location with a fantastic view over the harbor the boat and Villetta in the distance. So glad I didn’t stay in Villetta, which is a zoo, crowded with people and cars. Very comfortable very quiet great neighborhood close to sites and restaurants and easy to get to Villetta on the ferry. Fantastic deck with such a huge view, unfortunately the furniture is very marginal a rusty table, old chairs, and two dirty lounge chairs with no cushions, which is a shame because the deck is nothing short of brilliant. I loved my stay there and would stay again especially if the deck gets a little attention
