Airi was very friendly and helpful, we stayed at her apartment, which was lovely and had a beautiful view of the sea. The surroundings were spectacular but maybe were bit difficult to move by foot, but there were busses that connected to shimoda station.

This was an excellent stay for our family. The home was clean and comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen. Easy walk from the train station with a good handful of restaurants nearby and a wonderful view of the ocean from the kitchen windows. The hosts were always friendly, helpful, and responsive. Usami is a lovely, quiet little town, and the train station makes other attractions in the area fairly accessible. Staying here was a very special experience, and I recommend it for anyone who wants to take it slow for a few days.

We had a great stay and no complaints about the property. It was spotlessly clean, check in and check out were seamless and there was cleaning products left for us as well as a fully furnished kitchen. We were very comfortable the entire time. The hill is no problem if you are relatively fit but getting our suitcases up the first day was a bit tough. If you are looking for a hub between Odawara and Hakone, this location works fine and the accommodation is very close to Iriuda station, however if you plan to explore areas like Mt. Hakone / lake ashi it does take a little more time to reach from this location.

Breathtakingly beautiful views from every window. Even my 6 month old daughter enjoyed walking up and staring at the trees outside the bedroom window. So many great ways to unwind and recharge. Only thing to note is it’s a bit far from restaurants and stores so taxing was the way to get around for us since we had a baby and stroller to tote. Otherwise location and buses would’ve been convenient.

We spent one night in this house, the room is spacious, fully equipped, hygienic and tidy, the host also prepared welcome snacks and travel guides.During our stay, it rained heavily in Hakone, and the host was very considerate and let us check in early, and asked us if we wanted to delay the check-out.Really appreciate it!Unfortunately, the weather in Hakone was bad during my stay. If I come to Hakone again in the future, I will choose this house again!

I live nearby.My son and his wife came with a baby. On the day of fireworks, accommodation costs for nearby ryokans are soaring, but this time, it was a weekday price even on holidays, and it felt like a great deal. Originally, when I booked by mistake for a month, they responded by rescheduling, and they were willing to handle forgotten items, and communication was very smooth.Thank you very much.

It was a very pleasant room, and there was a large supermarket and restaurants nearby, so it was a very convenient location.

We had a fantastic stay at this modern and comfortable house in Gotemba, Japan. The home has two floors – upstairs there are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a shower room. Downstairs, there is another bedroom and a bathroom (without a shower), along with a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute drive to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, and within walking distance to a beautiful pine forest park. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – we never felt hot even in summer. The beds were very comfortable, and one of the highlights was waking up to a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from our bedroom. Another favorite feature was the massage chair – it was so relaxing after a long day. The Wi-Fi was super fast, too. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth the stay. This is a phenomenal place to stay and relax. The house is spacious and the living room having a patio you can step on to is perfect. Can't recommend it enough

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.
