Great stay beautiful apartment. Very clean and cozy. Charlie was always attentive, reaching out to make sure all of my needs were met during my stay. Snacks and waters we a nice touch. I like that the mini fridge had a freezer and there was a Keurig provided. Quality T.P. and paper towels were appreciated and she even left extra trash bags half way through my stay. Would definitely stay again!

This place was awesome. I don't believe I have ever stayed in someone else's home and felt as "at home" as I did at the Shepsted. It was so cozy and I will definitely stay again.

The floor features light grey planks, creating a spacious and clean environment that connects to the living area, where a fireplace is visible.

Lala’s place was great for us to stay on our way through. We usually try to stay away from animal friendly places dues to our friend’s allergies, but this house was great!! It was very clean, comfortable, and we felt at home. Highly recommended!!

Excellent home to stay in for wedding party—groomsman. Beautiful land, remote, but close to town, golf course view, horses on property to gaze at, garage—excellent customer service. We really enjoyed the home before and after my son’s wedding.

UVA Wise Rock Bar Retreat - 4 Bedroom Home!

Here on a M-F business adventure. Eva and Wayne are very welcoming hosts. Greeted us and shared some great knowledge of the area. The place is clean throughout. Great having the covered carport in the front, kept it cooler outside with the high summer temps. When the moon came out, the back deck was the perfect spot for stargazing, sipping, and talking. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We bought groceries locally and cooked our own meals for the trip except for dinner in town one night. Kitchen was stocked with everyday pans and utensils. The surrounding area is walkable, some small hills, but not terrible. Definitely look into this place if needing a place to stay versus a hotel, especially if you prefer to cook your own meals. Thank you Eva and Wayne for the hospitality, a beautiful stay, and the cheesecake was a delight.
