We really enjoyed our stay at Dock Cottage. It was modern elegance mixed with warm vintage touches. It had everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable and we loved the dock, hot tub and kayaking on the lake. It was quiet and peaceful and felt far away from everything yet we were an easy walk from Miss Nelle’s coffee shop and ice cream stand where we went each morning for a coffee (opens at 7am), Muskoka Brewing Company for a beer and a few other Baysville shops. The communication and instructions were really helpful and we received prompt replies if we had a question so it felt like we were really taken care of. We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends.

Had a great weekend away with friends at a beautiful Airbnb! The home was clean, and the view was beautiful. The hosts were great to communicate with! We enjoyed the dock for watch sunsets and swimming off of! Definitely recommend Serenity Now!

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. What a sensational weekend get away. This cottage had it ALL! Brilliant decor, a kitchen that I would love to have in my own home! Such a well thought out layout and gathering areas for relaxing, eating and playing games. The decor….amazing. The games room, simply spectacular, and the downstairs tv area, just wonderful. The views were off the charts, beautiful, and we had the most incredible weekend. Erika was very accommodating and flexible with check in etc. The kitchen is well stocked and we had an exceptional weekend. Would rent again.

We stayed 4 nights and had such and amazing stay. Very cozy. Screened porch is a game changer. Hot tub nice. Kayaked around the lake a bunch of times. Very good communication and we both left happy!! Highly recommend!

I stayed at Michael’s place in June 2025 with some friends for a weekend getaway, in total there were 6 adults and one dog. The location was super easy to find and matched the photos and description exactly. Michael’s instructions were very clear and we had no issues whatsoever getting in and set up. It was also so nice to have an earlier check-in time than other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at (check-in was at 1pm). The place is incredibly well-stocked, we were beyond impressed with the provided amenities, any little thing we may have forgotten was provided for us. We enjoyed the bonfire and the jacuzzi tub in the evenings, and had no problem following the easy instructions provided. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a small gathering of family or friends! We did also notice many little touches that would make a stay with children very comfortable. Thanks Mike for such a lovely stay!

My friends and I stayed here for Labour Day weekend, probably one of best cottages we have ever been to! Sherry was very quick to respond to any inquiry’s I had and we had so much fun on all the water toys they had available! Though the airbnb is missing some basic things like garbage bags, paper towels, bedsheets and towels it was still a very pleasant stay and we will definitely be back!

Bongopix is an incredibly unique and wonderful place to stay. The cabin was peaceful, comfortable, and was so full of character. When the weather was good we went for incredible hikes, when the weather was bad we watched videos and played snes, it was absolutely perfect. The bar served delicious food, drink, and we got to hear some great live music. As hosts, Bongo and Andrea were friendly, helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome. Such a great find in the area and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

Had a great 3-day, 2-night cottage stay! The property was just as described—clean, peaceful, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, but everything else made up for it. Would definitely recommend!

This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!

The cottage is very clean, organized, and spacious, and has an amazing view of the lake from the back deck. Jessica was a great host and offered us some fun suggestions for a rainy day. The cottage also has lots of movies and board games to stay entertained. Everything you need to cook with is available making it easy to prepare meals ( coffee maker, appliances,utensils, toaster ect). During good weather there is lots to do , Hiking , Shopping, Restaurants in Haliburton, we really enjoyed the sculpture museum in Glebe Park. This was our second time booking this cottage and we hope to visit again one day. - Merrissa & Matt

Our first stay at Michelle’s cottage and it hopefully won’t be the last. What a find this place was. Beautiful location, wonderful views and the cottage itself is absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Gorgeous views. A lot of space for larger Groups. Kids and adults were able to spread out. Water was swimmable and shallow for kids. Little beach area was a nice touch. Kids want to make this an annual visit! thanks for having us Matt (and family), we had a great time! Cheers

We stayed in Lyle’s beautiful cottage for thanksgiving weekend and Loved the place. It was clean, tidy, child friendly as he had kept some board games as well. My 6 year old was super excited seeing the bunk bed in one of the rooms. Moreover the kitchen had almost everything that we needed to cook our meals. The best part of our stay was canoeing in the morning as there were enough canoes, life jackets of each size. Overall, we loved our stay at this place and would recommend our friends. Though it is far from GTA, it was worth the long drive. And Lyle is a great host , very responsive to messages hence I didn’t find any issues in communicating, thanks !.

We had a wonderful countryside stay at this cozy, clean, and comfortable cabin in the woods. The setting was peaceful and truly felt like a getaway into nature. The host was great—friendly and responsive, making our experience even better. It was a very interesting and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely love to come back again!

We had an amazing weekend celebrating my dad's 70th birthday at this beautiful, secluded property! Hershel was super friendly and communicative from booking through check-out, even giving us great local recommendations when we arrived early. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—towels, linens, kitchen and BBQ supplies, toiletries, WiFi, and even a TV (though we didn’t need it!). We loved the private river for fishing, the sauna, fire pit, trails, and the stunning views. The check-in guide and house manual were clear and helpful, making everything easy to navigate, and the check-out process was stress-free. A welcome bottle of wine was also such a thoughtful touch! There was so much to do in and around the property, and though we drove three hours to get there, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you Hershel and Tiferet for an unforgettable getaway!

Our group was very impressed with this cottage. The location is perfect and has beautiful views. The cottage itself is flawless…It had everything our group needed, and more. Chris & Kate were very accommodating and responsive. Fishing off the dock was great. We had to cancel our golf game due to bad weather but the group wasn’t too upset since we had more time to spend at the cottage. I highly recommend this property and host. We will be back again!

Beautiful cottage for a family weekend on the cutest little lake, perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The kitchen was highly stocked with everything you could need and all the beds were very comfortable. Also very relaxing cute sun room off the main living area. Jennifer was a great host would highly recommend to anyone!

We had an amazing time at the Cottage and it is on a prime location right next to the water . You can fish off the dock and we cooked marshmallows over a pit fire . We had meals over looking the lake . The only thing that needed to more specific were the details to the garbage disposal. You need to separate the garbage with compost .recycle and garbage if you are disposing of them . Other than that , we had a fantastic time !!

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Nice and clean place, equipped with everything you may need. Open concept is very comfortable with little kids. Zara is a great host, very responsive and caring. We would recommend this cottage and will definitely come back.
