Vacation rentals with beach access in West Ashley, Charleston

Had a wonderful stay. Appreciated the attention to details, including the dog bowls. While we couldn’t see the ocean directly from our unit, it is so close and absolutely gorgeous. It is hard to explain the beach, it is breathtaking. The communication and instructions from Daphne were very helpful. This was a perfect location and unit. Would definitely consider staying here again. A few tips for next visitors - allow extra time, there is a lot a road construction en route to the island. And be aware that the unit is on the second floor, if steps are an issue. Special thanks to Daphne for opening her unit for others to enjoy.

Place was clean and nice. Location was fantastic. Lots of food and drink in walking distance. Beach was never crowded because the public could not get in through the Sea Cabins entrance.

Loved this spot it was just far away from center street that you didn’t hear all the noise but close enough walking to Bert’s was an easy walk and the beach was so close. It was super private and comfortable, after a long day on the beach it was a great place to come back and relax!

Jill’s place was perfect for our weekend girls trip! The neighborhood was very quaint and quiet making us feel safe and cozy! The area surrounding was very convenient and took no more that 10 minutes to get to sullivan’s island and 20 to get to downtown charleston! We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

I almost hate to leave a review because I don’t want anyone else to find it! We’ve been going to the beach for a long weekend every year for over a decade, this is by far our most favorite place we’ve ever stayed!!! Sara is awesome and makes everything so easy! A block from the beach, a block or less from everything! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sailor’s Rest. It’s a great location for families with young kids. We enjoyed the pool, fresh eggs, fish & walkable gardens. The beach was only apx a 10min drive, and the access card they give you made it very easy. 10/10 would recommend

Very nice clean house. Kitchen was nicely stocked, beds were comfy, and nice to have a washer and dryer! Very short walk to the beach - shops, restaurants, and coffee shops were very walkable too. Wasn’t sure about a duplex and there were people next door the whole time but we never even heard them. Had an issue with no WiFi for duration of the trip which bothered my teenage kids but overall very happy with our stay.

Melissa’s home was STUNNING, immaculate and spacious! Our kids were in heaven. We loved that it was an easy walk to the beach. The finished basement with the foosball and pool tables was a hit! And she left us a parting gift in a little box with a code- and the kids thought that was the coolest thing ever. Definitely at the top of travel accommodations list. ❤️

We enjoyed our stay at Anchors Away!!! It accommodated our group of 6 very nicely. Loved the location, convenient to Charleston attractions and the Park Circle neighborhood had great restaurants & bars. We found the home to be clean and our host was very communicative and proactive. Thanks for a great visit!!!

My family and I had such a great time at Salt & Sol. We relaxed on the back porch in the morning in the shade enjoying the scenes of the sound and the sunset in the evening. The beach was an easy 2 minute walk from the house. John and Jeanne were very responsive and so incredibly sweet. We were especially impressed with their attention to detail--everything was well appointed, cared for, and clean.

This condo is in a beautiful, private location and the property is right on the golf course. It is well-furnished and has a screened porch, with cool breezes, as well as a glassed-in sleeping porch with a double-size daybed. The kitchen is large and has a wet bar with glassware, ice bucket and a very nice, complimentary bottle of wine! The kitchen is well stocked and even has a cabinet full of spices. We felt very much at home and loved going to the nearby beach, which had parking spaces and walkways across the dunes. Sitting on that porch, reading and watching golfers was a highlight. It is under trees, so plenty shady. Oh yes! There were two bikes for riding and a neighborhood pool! Very comfortable and we hope to return.

Traci was a fantastic host! We had an issue with the AC on the first night and once I texted Traci about it, she worked tirelessly the next day to reach out to local AC people, find someone to come over to the house as soon as possible, and fix the problem immediately. She was sweet and so helpful in what could’ve been a very frustrating and unpleasant situation, and she handled everything without hesitation. I would recommend Traci’s property, or any other property owned by Traci- she was so wonderful to us, and definitely treated her guests like family. Thank you for all your kindness, Traci! It was truly a great experience 😊

Safe neighborhood, very close to downtown Charleston, comfortable beds and a bonus for me Starbucks 0.4 miles near lol Would stay again and definitely recommend!

We had the most incredible time staying at Corrie’s place in Folly Beach for our moms getaway girls trip! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, fun bars and restaurants, and a super cool 24/7 market. The house itself is a dream—spacious, luxurious, and designed with the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor lounge areas to relax and connect. The hot tub and pool were absolutely next level. Corrie was a fantastic host, and everything was seamless from start to finish. If you’re considering booking—stop looking and just do it!!!! We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We loved everything about our stay! There was so much to do, within biking range too! Very nice place. Alexander was terrific at communicating with us, as well. Hope to stay again sometime.

Jeffs place is a lovely cozy condo . Great for us, a couple, to stay in. It was very clean and has most everything we needed. Jeff is a very nice and responsive host . We were not expecting to be in such a public area but, we could walk to beach and that was great !

Elizabeth responded quickly to questions. She is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. We enjoyed her condo so much we extended our stay. The condo itself was very clean and exactly as advertised. Very close to private pier and beach. Was nice to go to the beach without the crowds of public beaches. Very close to Patriotic Point, Forts Sumpter and Moultrie. Many restaurants within walking distance. We hope to make it back next year!

Two words: absolutely wonderful! Felt right at home the moment we walked in. It was exactly as pictured and described. Close to everything. 20 minutes from Charleston and 5 min drive to ocean. Beautiful water views from porch. Also enjoyed time at the pool. Fully stocked kitchen. We will be returning again.

I was very pleased with everything about the property. Hiroko is a wonderful host. He quickly responds to any and all questions. He has very clear and concise instructions for check in and check out. This made for a stress free get away

Such a great spot, perfect for our babymoon getaway! Absolutely beautiful location, the beach is quite literally right in your backyard. Extremely quiet, private, and peaceful area. Very easy walk (0.3 ish miles) to coffee/breakfast in the morning at The Nest. We enjoyed the Ocean Room and Hege’s both for fantastic dinners. Freshfields shopping is also an easy drive for shops, groceries, and lunch spots. Ron was a wonderful host - we’d love to return!

Can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Captain's Quarters! Barbie instantly makes you feel welcome - from the detailed instructions on finding the villa, restaurant recommendations, quick responses on anything and everything to the clean and comfortable accommodations in the villa! The location of the villa is amazing! So quiet and private with quick beach access. We loved the outdoor sunroom area which overlooks the pond - the nature sounds and wildlife views were spectacular! The beach here is pristine too and was never busy, we felt like we had it all to ourselves! Overall 10/10!! We would definitely visit again!

Great condo and great location. Very convenient to Folly Beach and Charleston. Brittany thought of everything in the condo - from white noise machines (main road into FB can be loud) - to a well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was there. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch overlooking the marsh. She had great recommendations for restaurants in the area also. Would most definitely stay at this condo again!
