Healthy time-out in nature – in the middle of the Soonwald! Away from the hectic world and in the heart of the imposing forest lies our romantic log cabin. Through the large windows you can look out into the greenery from all sides. Here you can recharge your batteries with the power of nature. Absolutely CO2-free! Heat and water come from state-of-the-art renewable sources. The house is directly connected to the magnificent nature park Soonwald-Nahe and the many well-signposted hiking trails.

"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

Quiet holiday home on the banks of the Nahe

The lovingly furnished, bright self-contained apartment located on the outskirts is less than 50 m from the banks of the Nahe and the barefoot path. It is about 64 square meters, has its own entrance with its own parking space. It is equipped with a new kitchen, a bedroom with a cozy 1.80 double bed, a living and dining room with TV, as well as a comfortable bathroom with a floor-level shower and toilet & a small terrace. Towels, sheets and a hairdryer are available free of charge.

The train station is about a 5-minute walk. Surrounding shops and restaurants as well as cafes are also within walking distance.

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Ideal starting point for hikes, holidays with dogs, biking, exploring wild valleys, discovering dream paths, visiting castles and mines, hiking meadows and forests, enjoying nature, finding peace.... Up to 2 dogs are welcome for a small fee. A rich and regional breakfast can be reserved before arrival. Also vegetarian. Shopping is a 10-minute drive away.

This unique place has a style all its own: ecological materials such as clay and wood give the house a unique flair and an unsurpassed indoor climate. The half-timbered house, built in 1622, is modernly furnished. A wood and pellet stove creates a special evening feel-good atmosphere.
