Farmhouse Guest Retreat w/huge jetted tub for 2

This suite is part of the new guesthouse portion of our home. Our charming home was originally built in 1936 (by a wonderful couple I was blessed to know) but has since undergone many additions and remodels. We are in love with it and the gorgeous mountains surrounding us. With hiking/mountain biking trailheads < 1 mile away, reservoirs, rivers, and ski resorts close by, there's plenty to get out and do, or just enjoy our farmhouse retreat and over an acre of grass, fruit trees, and gardens.

Our studio apartment offers a unique space with a private entrance within a five to twenty minute drive of various outdoor activities. Explore junction city, adventure in the mountains and then come home to a comfortable studio suite to enjoy a bit of down time cooking, reading and relaxing.

Come stay in our updated basement unit! We are just up the road from Historic Downtown Ogden, only 5 min from iFly Utah, 5 min from Weber State University, 15 min from Hill Air Force Base and the Northrop facilities. Close to many hiking and biking trails, as well as lakes and reservoirs. If you love skiing as much as we do you can get to 12 ski resorts in under 1.5 hours with the closest being only 30 min away. You’ll have a private entrance to the downstairs. We occupy the upstairs.

Staying at Bobbie's place was such a delight. The first thing I noticed was how immaculate it was, followed by a sense of awe over the beautiful scenery. Every detail was addressed with the finest quality. Even the paper towels were plush. Better than what I buy for myself. Bobbie was a great host, easy to work with, and a great communicator. Our stay was a treat!

Wonderful AirBnB host! The space is very inviting, very clean, private, and affordable. The amenities are great. The location is close to wherever you might be going. If we ever need to go to Ogden again, this is the place where we will plan on staying. It really is an all around excellent choice for the Ogden area.

I stayed here during the annual Festival of Colors in Ogden. This is a remarkable spot all around; especially if you’re into historic buildings and history. Top recommendations, here. One thing that I will say is that the neighborhood is very diverse. You have some of the most beautiful homes and buildings from Queen Anne, Victorian Eclectic, Craftsman, in the trolley district, only a couple of blocks away and you can walk right down to the heart of 25th St. Adversely there is a serious drug epidemic in the same neighborhood. Also, just a tip, if you’re shopping at one of the quick marts, make sure to double check your pricing before you pay.

Trails and Slopes Hideaway

I stayed at Jenny’s place 3 nights to visit my grandchildren in the area. It was perfect and huge for just me since I was only there from 10pm at night until 8am each day - I didn’t get to enjoy it more lol. I can’t stay in basement rooms because of the feel but this is only a partial and a walk-out with lovely windows everywhere - very pleasant. Jenny thought of lots of amenities to make the stay very comfortable and a surprisingly well-stocked kitchenette. No stove of course but microwave and toaster oven if you need to stay in but so many restaurants and takeout close by! I will definitely be returning-if it’s available!
