On the outskirts of Schwarzenhasel, surrounded by beautiful fields, meadows and forest, we welcome our guests in the unique surroundings of the centuries-old moated castle. Whether hiking, biking, paddling or swimming in the nearby solar outdoor pool, there is room here for the perfect vacation with family or friends - or for small family gatherings.

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

The red construction trailer on the outskirts of the village offers comfort for your time out. Time to unwind and enjoy the simple life in nature. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to explore. Hills, lakes or forests - you choose. The construction trailer has everything for a relaxed atmosphere: washbasin, stove, refrigerator. You can relax in the double bed 1.40 cm or on the cozy sofa. In winter you shower in our separate apartment. The wood-burning stove keeps you warm.

Quietly located, fully equipped comfort apartment (approx. 70 square meters) for 2 or 4 (comfort occupancy) to a maximum of 6 people (exception with limited comfort) with direct access to the garden and pool area. Pool 4 x 8 m, covered and heatable. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides, draisine rides and excursions to Eichsfeld, Eisenach, Mühlhausen and others. Breakfast can be provided in the apartment (for an extra charge). Free parking spaces are available.

All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco World Heritage Site), Bach and Luther House, City Palace, Fraternity Monument, Dragon Gorge and the Automobile Museum are within walking distance. The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom.
