Cottage vacation rentals in Walcheren

The accommodation was great! We have enjoyed the beautiful location at the holiday home. The home was completely as in the pictures. The Bornem area is beautiful for biking and hiking. The jacuzzi on the terrace of the house overlooking the pond, was blissful after a long cycling day. Just a pity that we had to provide bed linen and towels ourselves. Thank you sooo much Tim!

It was nice, a little tip; put the facilities (jaccouzi/sauna) in the nightly price. If people didn't want to take advantage of it, they wouldn't rent a place with these facilities😅. This will avoid surprises at the end of the stay and an additional deposit. Other than that, great.

Cozy, clean cottage with large garden. Quietly located, private. The hot tub was a nice extra. The cottage is 1 open space (upstairs large bedroom with all beds, open stairs, downstairs living room, bathroom separate). So when our kids were asleep, we had to sit outside or they'd hear us too loud. No problem for us because the garden is very cozy but in a colder season it is important for families with bad sleepers like ours. Jan was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was warm as soon as we wanted to get in. And other questions were answered immediately. Everything is fine!

We had a lovely stay in Kapelle. If you are looking for a quiet place with lots of privacy, Casa Fico is definitely recommended! What a luxury: a 'private' hot tub overlooking the Zeeland fruit trees. From Kapelle you have many fun trips within 30 minutes or you rent bikes or an e-scooter to explore the area.

We found a lovingly designed, in every way very well-equipped house. Everything was like described and as pictured. The house is quietly located very close to the dunes. In the garden we saw a rabbit almost every day. Esther, the manager, was very friendly and responded super quickly and immediately found solutions for everything. We enjoyed our stay and would vacation here again. Thank you!

The cottage is in a great location and yet private and peaceful. We had a lovely time and Marnix is a very responsive host. The place is well equipped and clean with a big garden.

Our stay at Michiel's was very enjoyable. As a couple with a dog, the house was a cozy place where we lacked nothing. The kitchen is well equipped and has various appliances. We prefer to bring some utensils, kitchen knives, for example, ourselves. There was plenty of space to store the bicycles and the terrace and garden, as well as the tranquility and the well-kept outdoor areas also contributed to the relaxation. We will be happy to come back.

Had a great stay. Close to Antwerp and Ghent, which was the main reason for our stay. But still peace around you when you were at the cottage. Our dog also had a great time. He played nicely with sweet dog Bo.

This accommodation is clean, generous & well presented and is conveniently located for Bruges, local walks and amenities and for connection to other local towns and locations. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and would suit walkers and cyclists (it has an integral garage) and there is adequate local on-street parking. We would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely little cottage – it was very cozy and welcoming. It’s especially great for families with children. The beach hut and the bikes were super convenient and made our days even more enjoyable. We also really appreciated the toys and games for the kids – such a nice touch!😊

Margot and Adriaan are a very nice host couple. They were very kind and personable. The cottage is a very cozy, clean and attractively furnished place to stay. We felt very comfortable. The location is fantastic too. Located right on the water and harbor and 3 minutes' walk to downtown. Middelburg is a very pretty town. We highly recommend the accommodation and look forward to coming back again.

Our stay was absolutely amazing - we are a family of four, with two small kids. Our choice was optimal - the apartment is extremely clean, which is important for us as the little one has the tendency to "clean up" everything he sees on the floor :) The sheep across the fence were a huge plus for our older son, who was telling them good night every evening before going to sleep and checking every now and then, if they are still there ;) The small shed in the garden was optimal for our bicycles and bicycle trailer. The apartment itself of comfortable and of perfect size for the four of us to stay close together, but enjoy a very high level of comfort. It's very clear that the owners paid special attention to details and high quality of the equipment - this is a huge plus! Last but not least - the hosts are simply lovely! :) We would definitely stay in the same place again and can only highly recommend it.

We felt very comfortable! Sophia was always available and super nice! Behind the house is the playground, but the property is still not visible and you can relax on vacation with children. In addition, it was very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything is top notch!

The cozy, secluded cottage of Willem and Hannah is ideal to relax from everyday life. There is everything you need and you can quickly reach Vlissingen and Middelburg by bike or car. Ideal for two people, you get used to the somewhat steep stairs to the bedroom quickly.

A well-preserved gem in the heart of Zierikzee. The best way to describe this oasis of peace and hospitality. Already upon arrival, Aad was waving enthusiastically and welcoming us. The personalized parking space also made us feel welcome right away. Afterwards we got an extensive tour of the cottage and the area. With the necessary tips and tricks for exploring the city, we were ready for our 4-day stay. The cottage offers everything you need for a cozy and pleasant weekend getaway.

Jos & Mimi's place is right on a beautiful golf course, but we didn't find it disturbing at all. It is very quiet and wonderfully green. The furnishings are very high quality and the sleeping comfort is great! From the accommodation, you have a good connection to Rotterdam or Antwerp (each about 40 minutes by car). But Jos also has great tips for excursions that are not so overcrowded with tourists. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Beautiful place right on the beach. For the beach, the cart and the parasol were very practical :) A small note: to get to the bedrooms, you have to use a fairly steep staircase. This makes it unsuitable for all ages. I can recommend the property:)

We enjoyed the little cottage, which is really nicely renovated and equipped. The lakeside location is also simply idyllic! Communication with Adri and Belinda was very quick and extremely friendly.
