We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kirsten's! The place was just as charming as described – quietly located, with direct access to the lake and perfectly equipped for our fishing trip. Particularly nice was the possibility to go on the water by canoe and rowboat directly from your own property. Kirsten is an exceptionally warm and helpful host. She provided us with all the important information in advance, was always available and took care of everything with so much attention to detail – from boat licenses to maps. Just great! The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed – including a well-equipped kitchen, freezer and grill. And little extras like firewood were also available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime! Thank you for everything, dear Kirsten! 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful week at Karin and Anders's "villa"! It was full of winter (so grey and rainy) but still we enjoyed the garden and the view very much. The deer we had often read about walked through the garden regularly and there were also all kinds of birds present. Inside you really have a lovely space at your disposal. All there and everything is neat and fresh. Thanks to the giant windows, you have a lot of contact with outside, even if it rains (as in our vacation). On December 31st, together with our little ones from behind the windows, we admired the fireworks of Karrebaek (across the street from the water). The funny thing was that it didn't burst out loudly at noon at noon in the night as we know it from the Netherlands, but only 5 minutes later... Maybe typical Danish! Because as we experience it, no one can go crazy in Denmark. Very good! :-) Thanks Karin and Anders and see you next time!

I would say that we have enjoyed every day we were on the island! The location has been absolutely fantastic and it is such a cozy house that you feel at home from the moment you enter the door. Everything has been thought of and there were small welcome gifts ready. It's not the last time we're going to choose this cottage! Thanks for this time, see you again soon 🙏🏼🌞

The coziest old and crooked house to arrive at. For those of us who don't like the Scandic hotel, but who instead seek authenticity, the place is absolutely perfect.

Line’s cottage is a poem, so beautiful and special. She is also a wonderful host, accommodating and friendly and gave us lots of great tips for exploring the city. She even greeted us with warm coffee and pastries.

We have just spent 4 nights at Pernille's apartment and it was just amazing . such a stylish , superbly clean place , with a great garden that we could sit in after our daily travels. Great location for getting around Copenhagen as well . Pernille was a fantastic host , loved everything about it especially the morning just cooked buns , and the very cute friendly dog & cat Monty and Oscar. would definitely recommend , a really great place to stay Sarah & Mick

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly equipped and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the tranquility and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert very much. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully spoiled all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. The apartment is located in a beautiful old farmhouse just a little outside of Nysted center. It was very lovely, cozy, clean and inviting, very much like the description and the pictures. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay very much.

We were satisfied with the stay, which went smoothly and well. Theis was welcoming and quick to answer our questions. The apartment had what we needed and there was a nice light in it.

A wonderful stay. Rooms are separate so it felt more roomy than the pictures would suggest. Felt right at home. You have to be a little conscious of the stairs down and also the changes in the floor levels between the rooms but it wasn’t a problem - even for my parents in their mid-eighties but might be a consideration if you have mobility issues. Had everything we needed for a comfortable and quiet stay within easy reach of both the airport and the centre of CPH. Pernille was lovely and made us feel very welcome.

We had a lovely holiday. You will find everything you need in the accommodation & feel right at home. Very nice decor. The location is quite quiet, except for a small (but nice) farm shop, nothing is within walking distance. Next door there is a yard where bicycles can be rented. We are happy to recommend the Kapitänshaus!

We enjoyed Kristian's place very much. It was very comfortably furnished and it was very well equipped (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil… ), great dishes and with dishwasher, simply great.

This beautiful home is a true gem. For those who appreciate great architecture and design. It i a part of a landscape yet it has all the luxuries you would want to feel pampered. Immersed in nature, deer visible from the windows daily. An idyllic, soulful, original and absolutely gorgeous home. You are lucky if you get to stay there!

The house is in a quiet town which we used as a base for a day in Copenhagen. The house is large, looked tidy and clean, has a large garden and we walked to the fjord in the evening. We experienced the area and tranquility as a plus! The kitchen was also extensive and equipped with every comfort. We can recommend Malene and Claus's home to everyone if you are looking for a quiet place in a beautiful area, we enjoyed it.

We had very nice days in Marielyst, in this great vacation home. The house has very modern furnishings and was perfect for us 9 people. It was not far from the beach and you can also walk to Marielyst. The communication with David was quick and straightforward. Thanks to David.

Fantastic holiday home with sea view – pure relaxation! We had a wonderful time in this small but very nice cottage! The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired – from the well-stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and a cozy living area where you immediately feel at home. The absolute highlight is of course the fantastic sea view! For example, at breakfast on the terrace – the view of the water is simply priceless. The quiet location ensures real relaxation, yet shopping, restaurants and beautiful excursion destinations are easily accessible We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back. Lene is a great host, is there to help and advise. A real insider tip for anyone who wants to escape everyday life and relax!

Nice stay in a really cozy cottage. The cottage is well located close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. It was nice and clean, and everything we needed.

Very nice little cozy summerhouse. Elizabeth was very accommodating and helpful from the first second. Everything just worked and my kids were very excited about the house, especially the smallest in 7 years loved the toys and the garden. We didn't use the wilderness bath as it wasn't stocked, probably due to late booking.
