Apartment is very spacious. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and bathtub and very large. Here you can relax, experience relaxing days in harmony with a wonderful nature. All rooms with kitchen and bathroom can be fully used. In the vicinity you will find great hiking routes, reservoirs, Europe's largest extinguished volcano and even a swimming pool nearby on foot. A thermal bath with salt cave is 13 km away (Bad Salzhausen).

Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Sheikh House, a single house in the beautiful volcanic region of Vogelsberg. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a dwelling house, a stable and the barn. We both worked in tourism and managed a holiday village for a long time. When we retired, we decided: This is not possible without guests! We have always dreamed of remodeling the old barn of our house – and now was just the right time.

A cozy accommodation that has been renovated with a lot of love and natural materials and thus creates a special feel-good atmosphere. The listed cottage with a small garden is located in a village near the fairytale small towns of Alsfeld and Lauterbach, which have good highway connections.

It is in a 330 year old half-timbered house in the center of Alsfeld. View of nature and downtown with old church tower. Downtown , restaurants and shops within 2 minutes. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a glass of wine in the yard with a view.
