Beachfront vacation rentals in Vilankulo

Dona Gina had the kindness to upgrade our room and offered us the breakfast during our staying The place is well located, the beach is at less than 10 meters from the lodge The beaches are so beautiful, especially when the marée is low We hope to be back in Vilankulo

Nos encantó quedarnos en casa de Marina, es un alojamiento que tiene todo para sentirte como en casa. Está en una zona muy tranquila. La caravana es preciosa, impecablemente limpia como el resto y disfrutamos de un baño privado exterior muy completo. Todo decorado con muy buen gusto. Tiene una terraza enorme, y un jardín precioso a orillas de la playa donde pasamos muy buenos ratos. Tiene buenos restaurantes cerca y caminando 15 minutos llegas al pueblo donde hay supermercados y todo lo necesario. Pero lo mejor es Marina y su equipo, unos maravillosos anfitriones. Siempre estuvieron pendientes de nosotros. Nos recibieron de manera muy cariñosa y nos dieron muchas sugerencias sobre nuestro viaje, ayudándonos con todo lo que necesitamos. Incluso nos organizaron la excursión a las islas Bazaruto que nos encantó. También nos ayudaron con el taxi y el autobús para ir a Tofo. Recomendamos 1000x100 este alojamiento. Sin duda el mejor de Vilanculos.

We just spent six dreamy days at Villa Tsai Tsai in Vilanculos and honestly? I didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful—like, jaw-dropping beautiful—and perfectly perched right on one of those beaches that feels like it belongs on a postcard (or a screensaver from the early 2000s, but in the best way). Eugenia, the host, is an actual angel. She was always available, always helpful, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. You know when someone just gets it? That’s her. The whole team was lovely—warm, helpful, and just genuinely nice to be around. Mark organized boat trips to Bazaruto and Benguerra for us, and they were a total highlight: smooth rides, no delays, super comfy, and memories we’ll keep forever as a family. We felt completely at home—surrounded by good people, amazing service, and the kind of natural beauty that makes you stop mid sentence. Mozambique you've outdone yourself!

Lexi has a beautiful house and is as described. The views are great and the help from Sezzi to make it as relaxing as possible was appreciated. The chef made us delicious meals however struggles with English so ensure he understands what you want and doesn’t just agree. Unfortunately the costings provided by Lexi were not accurate for Sezzi or the chef. Sezzi insisted on working the weekend as we checked out on a Sunday, this meant we had to pay him for two days. The chef was arranged for our full stay but check in is at 3pm and checkout by 11 - you are still required to pay the FULL day rate. The boat hire is a full day rate however the time includes launching and washing the boat afterwards, you are actually only on the boat from about 10am until 2pm. This limits how far you can actually go with the skipper constantly checking your time. We enjoyed our stay however be ready for possibly price changes and perhaps more than one day on the boat to see more of the islands.

Wonderfully located right on the beach. The little palm thatched cabanas are immaculately clean. A very professional service all round. Rebecca is a gem of a hostess organising your trips and even taxis to and from the airport if asked; all done with a smile. Highly recommend staying here if you come to Vilankulo

We had such a wonderful stay! Sam is such a great host! He made fries for the kids, helped us carry little Isabella to the beach each day, he even cooked dinner for us one evening. It was delicious. This beach house is a hidden gem. So peaceful and calm. We felt really safe and could really enjoy some time to rest. The pool and garden is amazing and Sam takes really good care of it. We would highly recommend this beautiful house. Hope to come back soon. Thank you Christine

In one word: amazing! The house is beautiful, the location out of this world (few steps from the beach - amazing view over the bay), and Johnny and Sergio were super helpful and friendly. We LOVED exploring the archipelago with Johnny in the Dhow! There were some issues with the motorboat’s engines, but the owner was incredibly helpful and flexible in finding an alternative solution so we could go snorkeling at Paradise Island and 2 mile reef, which was nothing short of fantastic! We’ll be back 😊

Siamo arrivati molto tardi 20,30 , causa giornata di forte pioggia, dopo un viaggio di 10 ore in auto. Le strade negli ultimi 20 km sono veramente difficilmente praticabili con il buio ed il brutto tempo. Questo non ha favorito l’operazione di welcome. Il giorno dopo con una giornata con un tempo discreto, abbiamo però potuto apprezzare la struttura ed il panorama veramente incantevoli. La villa è molto bella , attrezzata e funzionale , adatta anche per 9/10 persone. Il personale Diogo e Carlos sono discreti e disponibili. Forse un po’ poco reattiva la Manager in loco anche se ci ha indicato una bellissima gita in barca. Ringrazio per la disponibilità di tutti . E’ stata una bellissima esperienza.

Eugenia, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, showing us the essentials and bringing humor and warmth to every interaction. She made our stay truly memorable. Thelma kept the place spotless, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed, which added so much to our comfort. Sophie and the chefs outdid themselves, serving up delicious meals that were worth every moment—their cooking was a highlight of our trip. The location is unbeatable, with the beach right in your backyard. Whether paddling, going for a swim, taking long walks, or just relaxing, it’s the perfect spot for a memorable getaway. We can’t wait to come back next year. Highly recommend! 😄

very pleasant stand. our host was really nice, helpful and easy speaking. you have a direct access to the beach but no view from the lodge. the outside shower has been roofed. the garden is very peaceful,

excellent choice if you are staying in Vilanculos. private bedrooms, very safe, seconds from the beach and most importantly the best host! Jill was always responsive and kind and knows a lot about Vilanculos. Wilton is also very helpful and kind! highly recommend this place!
