O espaço é excelente para uma escapadinha a dois, muito tranquilo e bem decorado. A D.Rosa esteve sempre disponível para atender aos nossos pedido, com.um pequeno almoço delicioso todas as manhãs, sempre com variedades de pão diferentes e deliciosas. Recomendo o passadiço do Alamal e da Barca da Amieira, muito próximos. De notar apenas que a casa não será adequada a quem tenha alguns problemas de mobilidade, e recomendaria um forno/microondas para aumentar as opções faceis na cozinha, não há muitos restaurantes na zona (mas há supermercado em Envendos e Mação).

Rosaria is an adorable, recently renovated place in the montains near Leiria, surrounded by the nature, very peaceful and beautiful. The property is pet-friendly and exactly as described. Steve and Sarah are amazing hosts, and they made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t be happier for choosing their place to spend a few days in the countryside. I recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city.

El entorno es impresionante, si vienes con la idea de respirar aire puro y escuchar solo el cante de los pájaros, despertar con ese café en mano, levantar mirada y maravillarte del paisaje que tienes delante de tus ojos …. I can’t express how grateful I am for this unforgettable stay. Nestled deep in the woods, the place felt like a peaceful retreat straight out of a fairytale: quiet, surrounded by nature, with the soft sounds of birds and leaves in the breeze. Every little detail was thought through with care and love, making the space not only cozy and beautiful, but also deeply welcoming. And then there’s the host, absolutely extraordinary. From the first message, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Warm, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, Mariana made us feel more like guests in a friend’s home than travelers passing through. Their recommendations, attentiveness, and generosity added so much to the experience. If you’re looking for a special escape, this is it. A place to breathe, to slow down, and to feel truly taken care of. I’ll carry the peace I found here with me for a long time.

A casa era muito agradável e exatamente igual as fotografias. Quartos com espaço e camas confortáveis. A cozinha estava equipada com todos os electrodomésticos necessários, incluindo chaleira, máquina de café expresso e máquina de lavar louça. O espaço exterior muito agradável para o verão!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found something truly special. ❤️❤️ The listing looked like paradise—but in person, it’s even more breathtaking. Every corner of Florbela’s property radiates peace, beauty, and care. And Florbela herself? An absolute gem. Her warmth, communication, and attention to every detail went far beyond anything we expected. Since the very single morning freshly bread and local pastries delivered, to all the things she left in the house, we never had to go to any supermarket. And if you need any veggies, there’s a garden where you can go and pick up fresh veggies and herbs. If you are looking to disconnect and create memories for a lifetime, this is your place. Florbela made us feel like family, and her hospitality turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed, but with a new friend. Just blown away by our stay at Casa dos Galegos. Daniel was so friendly and helpful and the little touches he brought such as the welcome basket and sweet treats and cherries from his land during the week really made it feel extra special. The space is beautifully designed and super comfortable, inside and out, the inside has high end hotel touches while the outside is the perfect place to relax all day in such beautiful surroundings. I’m a cat lover and absolutely loved being surrounded by such happy, friendly cats mostly sleeping sweetly in any shade they can find! The surrounding area is stunning and we loved exploring all the nearby villages and popping over the border to Spain for tapas! We started most days with a hike of which there are plenty of well marked trails and perfect sized routes of 5-7km as well as longer ones for the more adventurous (and less hot days!!)
