Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vila do Bispo

We had a fantastic stay in Casa Sigi. The view over the garden and sea are beautiful. Andy and Astrid, who live in their camper in the garden, are very nice and helpfull people. The beach was nice and quiet.

As four friends on a surf trip we had a fabulous stay in Sagres. The villa exceeded expectations, was walking distance from town and close to all beaches. We had a very comfortable week and would stay again. Thanks!

This is a real gem. Arriving into a lovely enclave of trees and walking through the building to discover an uninterupted sea view from your terrace is just wonderful. Sea swim at any time just 2 mins away across the dunes. So perfect for chilling right out and close enough to town to walk in for supper. The interior is welcoming and has a great relaxed 60s vibe. Coastline stunning.

Wir waren eine Woche in dem schönen Haus. Es ist toll eingerichtet, alles ist da was man so braucht und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank!

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in Sagres. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet einen hohen Standard. Mit einer Outdoorküche, Außendusche und einem Wintergarten, dessen Türen sich vollständig öffnen lassen, haben wir uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und hervorragende Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Traumhafte Strände mit wunderschöner Landschaft drum herum, bieten viele Möglichkeiten zum baden und surfen. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war freundlich und unkompliziert. Alles in allem war es eine perfekte Zeit, und wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiederkommen.

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s place. We had our dog with us and it was extremely well set up for the dog. Safe, enclosed space to let the dog roam outside. Close to the beach and the main road and the shop but quiet. Outdoor BBQ was great. Off street parking. We stayed for a week and it was as just what we needed.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist schön und genau wie beschrieben. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist gut und alles war blitzsauber. Wir haben uns sehr über den beheizten Pool auf der Anlage gefreut. Die Kommunikation mit Michael ist mehr als vorbildlich! Er war sehr gut erreichbar, hatte gute Tipps und ist auch auf spezielle Fragen / Wünsche super eingegangen! Der Lage des Hauses, mit Blick auf einen Golfplatz, ist ruhig und doch sind mehrere Restaurants, wie auch ein Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar. Für uns war die Lage des Ortes perfekt, um die Algarve mit ihrer schönen Landschaft und den traumhaften Stränden zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter!

I was blown away by Carlota's place - it was beautiful, unique, and so relaxing. I wish I could have stayed longer!!

Such a lovely apartment in a great location. It felt both homey and like a wonderful escape. Plenty of space, including a covered patio and a little viewing deck. Very easy to check in and out. We’d stay here again!!

Excellent accommodation with a great view, very close to the beach and a short walk down to Salema. The apartment is a good size, finished to a high standard and very clean. The kitchen is also well equipped. Salema is very nice, with good restaurants and a great beach. Also a good base if you want to explore the west coast. Just be aware that it’s near the top of a steep hill but it provides great views from the outside terrace area. Was able to stop close to the apartment to drop bags off and parking was available a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely like to return.

My sister and I stayed in Andrea’s lovely home in Raposeira and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings as well as the spacious apartment which felt more like a big house! The beds were very comfortable and the surrounding area quiet and peaceful and very close to some amazing beaches. Mornings at the pool were highly enjoyable as well. All in all we had a great time and can recommend this great apartment ☀️

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and loved the apartment. The views are stunning and being positioned adjacent to a nature reserve ensures quietness and privacy. The balcony and roof top terrace are 5 star! The apartment is very well apointed and equipped allowing for meals etc to be easily prepared if one wants a break from the local resturants. I have to make special mention of the very comfortable wide beds - my wife and I have booked accomodation at many different rentals in Salema and our general experience has been particularly uncomfortable small beds. This is quite the opposite at Casa Alvorada. There are a few flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment from the parking area which is not a problem at all and well worth it for the amazing views. If you are compromised in any way, this may be a challange but Robert John made us well aware of the stairs prior to booking and paying. Would love to stay at Casa Alvorada again, highly recommended!

We had a fabulous time at Paul's place. The apartment is big with large bedrooms, plenty of storage and a lovely terrace with loungers and a table for outdoor dining. Kitchen has everything you need. The apartment is in a quiet residential area, with a heated pool which was lovely to relax in. Burgau is an ideal place to stay, especially if you are looking for a quieter place but with plenty of great restaurants and the beautiful beach less than 10 minutes’ walk. We will definitely come back to this place if we come back to the Algarve! Thank you, Paul, for all the recommendations too.

Das Studio von Cláudia war ein Traum. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft herzlich empfangen. Als Willkommensüberraschung stand wie auf den Fotos leckere Früchte und Kekse auf dem Tisch für uns bereit. Das Studio ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Auf der Garten und der nahegelegene Strand (2min) sind paradiesisch. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einige gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben die Wochen in Burgau sehr genossen und können das Studio wärmstens empfehlen.

Super schöne Wohnung mit kleinem Garten. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und alles super sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt in der tollen Wohnung. Viele Details und Pflanzen in den Zimmern machen es sehr gemütlich. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel. Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet. Man hat wirklich alles was man für den Urlaub braucht. Auch für kleine Gäste ist gesorgt. Für meine Tochter gab es ein neues Babybett und einen Hochstuhl. In der tollen Küche kann man super kochen. Auch hier fehlt es an nichts. Kirsten übernimmt die Reinigung selbst und man merkt wie gründlich sie es macht. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Kirsten und Joao sind zudem die perfekten Gastgeber. Man merkt einfach mit wie viel Liebe sie das Haus hergerichtet haben. Es liegt ihnen am Herzen, dass man einen tollen Urlaub hat. Das ist wirklich etwas besonders und macht den Urlaub bei Kirsten und Joao perfekt. Die Lage ist auch toll. Es gibt wunderschöne und ruhige Strände in der Nähe. Wir können es wirklich sehr empfehlen und kommen gern wieder ❣️

Very cosy cottage like feel, we had a great 4 night stay. 2 adults + baby. Plenty of room upstairs. Outdoor space was great, beautiful views across the hills and very peaceful street so no noise while we were there. Nearby campsite is a 5-10 mins walk from the house, handy for using the restaurant/shop there or takeaway pizzas :) Easy access to local beaches and bigger towns (like Lagos) by car. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby too. Everything you need in the house if you want to make lunch, dinner, etc. Recommend!

We loved our stay at Casa de Migges - one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. It was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home and loved that we were able to cook, do laundry, and enjoy the pool. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were modern and spacious, and the neighbourhood was cozy and quiet. We also loved that each room had air conditioning that worked beautifully and was not noisy. A perfect stay and we would definitely stay here again. Caroline was wonderfully responsive and friendly. Thank you Caroline!!

Das Haus ist sehr nett gelegen und der Pool ein Traum. Mitte Mai war es zwar teilweise noch zu kühl um ihn voll zu nutzen, dennoch war er ein Highlight. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Gegend ist auch sehr schön und mit dem Auto ist man bald überall (ohne Auto ist dafür nicht so viel gut erreichbar). Mit kleinem Kind ist der Weg zum nahen Strand etwas weit, mit größerem sicher gut zu Fuß machbar.

Ein wunderbares Domizil in absolut genialer Lage, sehr ruhig und exklusiv. Sehr großzügiges Haus, große und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr großer Pool, alles toll.

The house is great and well equipped. It was clean and we did have some issues with water (water heater had to be serviced and then the next day the water for the whole condo was shut off for some repair), but they were not the host fault and the water heater issue was taken care of promptly. Heating the pool is an extra fee but I highly recommend doing it - the pool was great even in the evening. Overall a great experience for a large group!

Het was een plezier om in het huis van David te mogen verblijven. De voorzieningen in het huis kan absoluut niet beter. Aan werkelijk alles is gedacht. David is een actieve host en wij werden aller hartelijkst welkom geheten door Mato. Ook de vrouw van Mato heeft ons nog voorzien van allerlei tips waardoor onze vakantie aan de Algarve onvergetelijk was. Het huis ligt afgelegen maar voor ons een uitvalsbasis om de gehele kustlijn met plaatsen te bezoeken. Het huis ziet er uit zoals op de foto’s met een gezellige tuin. Heb je een dag geen zin om erop uit te trekken dan is het in de tuin ook goed vertoeven. Kortom een absolute aanrader.

We have had a lovely week staying at this beautiful villa, with our 3 grown up children and their partners. We loved the pool, hot tub and lovely garden. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. All communications with Margot were helpful and she always replied very quickly. We had a small issue on holiday which was dealt with immediately we contacted her, Would definitely love to return to this villa.

This is, without a doubt, the most spectacular place we've ever rented from Airbnb. The photos don't begin to do it justice. We were two families, 3 teens, surfing ans swimming every day from Sagres to Burgau, and this house was beyond our expectations. Spotless, everything in working order, outfitted in every respect, perfect location, incredibly quiet, ridiculously quiet/private. Edgar and Oxana are the perfect hosts – attentive, responsive, and there whenever you need them. Go. Stay. And after, like us, you'll be making plans to return.
