The forest wagon is for those of you who want peace and quiet. The incredibly cozy wagon is located on the edge of an old oak forest, overlooking fields and Limfjorden. Child-friendly and well-maintained house with plenty of space

Our cottage is located by the beautiful Limfjord on the outskirts of the summer town of Hvalpsund. Here there is room for indoor coziness in the large kitchen, room for 12 overnight guests, barbecue evenings and relaxation on the large terrace and play and bonfire in the garden. The house is equipped with beds, chairs and toys for smaller children. With only a five-minute walk to the water, both big and small can join in. Hvalpsund offers a cozy harbor area, vintage shops and local roadside stalls. A beautiful house for the whole family.

Close to nature in Himmerland

The home is located in rural surroundings with many opportunities for experiences in nature. Parking right at the door. "Aftægtshuset" is a home of 80 m2, of which 50 m2 is used by AirB&b guests. 2 beds with the possibility of additional bedding. Bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator. Note that there is no stove. Try, for example, a hike on the Himmerland Trail, a fishing trip at the beautiful Simested Å, or visit the lovely Rosenpark and activity park. The area also offers exciting museums.

Sit back and relax in this quiet and stylish space. Here you can relax and enjoy nature and the Limfjord. There are good hiking trails in the area. Two bedrooms, one of which is in the annex. The annex is right by the house, but at the same time allows you to retreat. Here you can relax in the summerhouse area, where you are at the same time sheltered by neighbors. The garden is fenced and a dog is allowed. 5 km to Landal Rønbjerg. 3 km to put and take. 15 km to Himmerland Resort.

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

On a scenic plot in the middle of the forest, you'll find this authentic wooden house that exudes retro and combined with modern comfort. On the large nature plot you will find a fire pit, terraces with several cozy nooks and room for children's play. Only a 15 min walk via a nature trail is the Limfjord and there are lots of nature experiences nearby.

The beach is 200 meters from the cottage, and there is a 5-minute walk to shopping and dining. NOTE: Electricity is charged at the daily rate, firewood can be purchased on site
