This turreted hideaway forms the East Tower of a 15th century château - featured in a number of UK homes & interiors magazines. The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

For lovers of nature and discovery, the area is full of wonders to explore: visit restaurants between Gladys, unique and peaceful walk, along the banks of the Loire.

Guests can enjoy a small, fully enclosed outdoor area. This home is a 5-minute walk from the city center and supermarkets . Bus stop at the end of the street. It is 15 minutes from Saumur and 40 minutes from Angers and Terra Botanica. In addition, it is located 30 minutes from Doué La Fontaine Zoo and 40 minutes from Center Parc.

The small feathered gîte

This property is located on the edge of the forest, in an old farmhouse that has been divided and renovated. It is located on our land, very close to our home. The location of the buildings keeps privacy in both houses. We do not have air conditioning, but the tuffeau stone keeps it cool during the summer.
