Host is such a wonderful man. He accommodated me to check in earlier and check out later than stated. The apartment is a bit far from the center of port vila but in return there is a very nice lake view.

BUNGALOW right at volcano's entrance - Yasur Lodge

MarcinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at Thomas's place for 2 nights and it will definitely stay an unforgettable night for us. We rented a normal room, but we got an upgrade to a treehouse from which the view is amazing. Thomas and his family are very friendly and helpful. You can have a tasty meal at the property. There is also a possibility of transfer and excursions. Highly recommend!

Pangona Boho chic by the beach

AlastairRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a fantastic time at Loic's place. As described it is about 45min drive from Vila so having your own transport is highly recommended. A representative form the management company met us at the airport and we followed them the property as it was after dark. This was really helpful as otherwise we might have struggled to find the entrance (its easy in daylight). Devils Point Road is unpaved but didn't really need a 4WD (we were there at the end of the dry season). The property is pleasant and set in a fantastic location with world class snorkelling from the private beach. Sam and his family, who live next door, look after the property and kept us supplied with Paw-paw and coconuts! Mele Beach is about 20 mins drive away and the Friday night Fire Show is highly recommended. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in stunning surrounds.

Beach Bungalow

EthanRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We stayed longer than planned because Air Vanuatu went into administration. But, this wasn't an issue. Klaas and Josephine looked after us the whole way. Our flight was cancelled but they did everything they could to make us feel at home. Our domestic departure to Port Vila was late and we missed our international flight but Josephine managed to pull some strings and we were put on the next flight out of Vila. Without her and Klaas I'm sure we'd still be there now. The accomodation was great. It was on the water and the sound of the water lapping on the beach was too good! During the day Josephine would help organize and negotiate day tours for us. She also made us lots of nice drinks and kept the coconuts flowing. We explored the island and met the neighbors. The bunkers were cool. Klaas took us around to see the sights and did a bit of 4wd'ing. The local food was great. Make sure you request Lap Lap, Tuluk, and Simboro. You'll be glad you did!

Towoc bungalows in Pristine waters

BennRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Janeth and Peter welcomed us into their family and showed us the most amazing time possible. The location and surrounds were pristine and almost dreamlike in quality. The village has a family atmosphere and is a beautiful thing to be apart of during your stay. The kids are happy and joyous which is super contagious. The coral reefs, only metres from the front door are sensational, the fishing is fantastic and the beaches offer true relaxation and privacy. This district is only recommended to those who can 'unplug' from the world happily, as it's quite isolated from communication (but it's possible if you need it), shops and night-life etc... But for those who seek some peace and tranquillity, it rivals any place on earth, my wife and I completely fell in love with the place and it's people and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Janeth and your beautiful family for an amazing stay which we will never forget.

Island Magic Private Villa - Vanuatu

EileenRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Don's place is a unit at Island Magic Resort -- we were in Bungalow 10. The bungalow was very spacious, with louvre windows in every direction so ocean breezes were great. Snorkeling right from the resort was also great. Grounds were well kept. The resort was very quiet -- about 15 min from town. We had a car so no problems getting around but local transportation was also available. Highly recommend attending the cultural show on Saturday evenings. Restaurant served excellent food. Staff was excellent-- this is a small resort where they get to know you very quickly. Highly recommend Island Magic and Don's place!

Bukurabeachhouse beachfront villa

PaulaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We enjoyed our stay immensely at this magnificent property. The direct and expansive views of the ocean, including a coral reef right in front, and the sounds of gently breaking waves, was an elixir for the soul! Bukura is a good 30 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of central Point Vila (depending on road conditions), but that is its appeal! A fully equipped kitchen made for easy food prep. The pool was immaculate. We loved the many separate spaces on the property set up to enjoy morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or sundowners, all while watching the sea. A pod of spinner dolphins cruising past was the icing on the cake! Robin was without doubt the most helpful and flexible host I've ever encountered on AirBNB, especially as we arrived only days after the 2024 earthquake. As promised, her neighbour met us at the gate as we arrived and showed us around. Robin promptly responded to any questions we had for the duration of our stay and could not have been more helpful.
