We had a great weekend at François and Liao's place. Communication was very simple and they are accommodating and pleasant people. The internet connection is more complicated but that didn't bother us for a weekend of rest and games. The place is quiet, very cool (very useful given the heat we had) and has all the useful amenities. Thank you François and Liao for hosting us. We'll be happy to go back

it was lovely to arrive at such a wonderful place, lots of room to walk the dog, beautiful wildlife, very friendly goats. Chauvigny great for food and coffee.

It’s our second stay at Patrice’s and just as good as we remember from two years ago. Impeccable and quiet, and everything worked. The hosts were available for both our arrival and departure, and were professional and friendly. We shall be delighted to stay there again in the future.

We were hosted very well by Frederik and Ton! (and their Beagles!) Their house is very beautiful, with charm and very well-equipped, comfortable bedding. The garden is huge! Our only regret: not staying longer! :-) Blandine and Ronan

We had a very pleasant stay, the accommodation is peaceful and as described. Jean-Pierre and Cécile are very welcoming and helpful. I recommend it.

Julian’s place was most peaceful and relaxing. We stayed a week but could have stayed longer. We had all the amenities we wanted and feel that the gite is very good value for money. The weather was unseasonably cool, but we still enjoyed swimming in the unheated pool. There are two outdoor spaces which we used each day. For cooler weather there is a substantial wood burner.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Catherine and Bernard's. A peaceful and immediately rejuvenating setting. Catherine and Bernard are lovely people, with whom we enjoyed talking. Swimming pool, badminton, petanque court, small piece of forest, nearby futuroscope added to a place where you feel very good: a perfect combo for a part of our vacation. We'll be back!! The cottage was comfortable and spacious for a family with children. The pool allowed us to cool off on hot days. We were able to visit many cultural sites while entertaining ourselves in a more fun way. The cottage is well located to explore the area.

What a pleasant surprise, better than the photos and comments. Nothing is missing, even your 1st meal is in the fridge! You feel really good at the Grange aux livres, there are a lot of nice details that you will discover over the days. Sophie is very welcoming, human and caring. One of our most beautiful Airbnb experiences, a little heartache when leaving this beautiful and peaceful place. Don't hesitate if you're looking for calm, countryside and birdsong.
