I use Airbnbs a good bit for work, and this was by far the BEST experience I’ve had with the app. The hosts were nice and cordial. The place is beautiful and very spacious. The bathrooms were super clean and towels were very clean too. Beds were comfy and the location was perfect— not too far of a walk from great spots to eat shopping. Being able to wake every morning and jog around the white house was so cool. We all loved that the house was historic and loved reading on the history of the place. If this place is open and available, don’t skip!! You won’t regret it.

Great place, nice location. As listed. Could have used a better cleaning before we came and also long term could use better windows to stop some of the noise.

This property is on a corner, easy to get to by public transport (bus or Metro subway). It’s a walkable (1.5 miles) from the National Mall. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Capitol Bike Share is across the street. It’s a great location for anyone wanting to tour our nation’s capitol city.

The house has three stories so one must be able to use stairs. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 more in the basement. Only one room has a king size bed. There’s one bathroom on the main level, a living room, kitchen and dining room with the TV in the dining room. We were comfortable there with 6 adults and 2 kids. There’s a washer and dryer on both the top and bottom floors. The house is well equipped with paper products, cleaning products, dishes and coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sugars/creamers.

I recommend staying there for your trip to Washington DC
