We felt really comfortable and welcome! More importantly to us, we felt our border collies were welcome and not just “accepted.”
The space in front and back was so much fun and we wish we’d have been able to stay longer to enjoy them more!
We checked to see if it was available to stay an extra day and it wasn’t, but she offered a later checkout so we could enjoy Dog Beach a little longer in the morning! We didn’t even ask! So we thought that was super generous and kind!
The whole place just really fits the vibe of Ocean Beach!

Alexandra allowed us to book last second and get in to the property immediately! We appreciate her flexibility so much. As a local, I can definitely confirm her spot is in a great location for those visiting! So close to the main beach but literally steps from the bay (which is one of my favorite spots). Great little spot for quality time. Has a full set up. Mainly booked for the Jacuzzi tub, which was utilized. Easy to use with instruction manual, for those unfamiliar with spa tubs. Nice accommodations for the space provided.

We had a wonderful time at the mermaid cottage. We rode our beach cruisers everywhere and parking was always available. The little grassy area outside was perfect to enjoy a cocktail at night.
Would definitely go back!!
