Het Voorhuis van onze rijksmonumentale boerderij is gerenoveerd tot een volledig luxe suite met eigen voorzieningen. De originele details, zoals de hoge plafonds, de bedstee wanden en zelfs een originele bedstee waar je in kan slapen, zijn behouden. Maar liefst 65m2 met een eigen keuken, ruime woonkamer en aparte slaapkamer met vrijstaand bad. Toilet en ruime inloopdouche. Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Lovely cosy tiny house in the middle of pretty Urk

Our house is a nice little cozy home and is right in the middle of the historic part of town near the beach and sea which means everything is in walking distance, shops , restaurants, pubs, a bakery and the Port. A visit to the lighthouse, the museum, the monuments and the IJsselmeer fish market are highly recommended.. Our house can accommodate two people, couples, solo adventurers, cyclists or business travelers.
