We have stayed with Karen before, and we had a great experience, so we stayed again while in town. The house is nice and neat. Karen is very responsive to any concerns.

Karen’s place was great. The huge fenced in back yard was wonderful for our pups. There was plenty of space for us to relax and have an enjoyable week.

We will definitely book this again if we are heading to U of I. The kids thought the staircase was cool because it was so steep and they enjoyed being able to play pickleball at the park. I was able to get a run in around the neighborhood but there was definitely pot smoking and drinking going on at the park by adults in the pavilion. It is a college town and just stayed at the park with the kids but didn’t feel unsafe. Great location overall!

The inside of the house was amazing and has plenty of space. It’s better than I ever expected.

Loved the stay at Illinois Bungalow -The property was located in a safe neighborhood close to campus and was tastefully decorated to capture the Illini spirit. The house was very clean and things were neatly organized. The kitchen was well stocked with required pots & pans and dishes. The artwork and other items in the house made us feel cozy. Rachel is a very caring and thoughtful host and was very prompt in her communications. She provided clear instructions to check-in and check-out. Will definitely consider staying here again if we happen to be in the area.

This was my second time staying in this special house— it is always my first choice when visiting the Champaign-Urbana area. Tori is a dream host and this house has it all: vintage charm, big fenced yard, patio, thoughtful decor, well made furniture, washer + dryer. Had a bunch of family come in for graduation and this helped them all stay together with room to spread out, mingle, and relax. Very convenient to campus and restaurants, and the big driveway made it a breeze to get in and out on a fairly busy street. Everyone had a great time - thank you, Shayla!

Great stay! We visited for about a week and my sister lives a few houses over so we used this airbnb as our “crash pad” and it was perfect for that. It’s in a great area with plenty that you can walk to- parks, the university, coffee shops, the library, etc. It’s an older house with a few steps and steep stairs to the basement so I’d be careful if you are on the clumsier side. Overall, nice house! We’d stay here again.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about my stay here! From the start, the host went above and beyond to make my experience as smooth and welcoming as possible. We were able to check in early, which was such a relief after a long drive, and it set the tone for the rest of my visit. What truly made this stay incredible was the genuine care shown during a difficult time in my life. The host checked in to make sure we were comfortable and went out of their way to offer support and kindness. It meant so much to be treated with such empathy. The place itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful amenities. we especially loved all the personal touches for my dog—food bowls, a crate and other dog touches waiting for our boy. It’s rare to find a host who welcomes pets so warmly. We absolutely loved the place and would recommend it to anyone. If you’re looking for a host who truly cares and a space that feels like a home away from home this is it.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Tatiana’s house! We got there in a rain storm, easily got right in, and were transported into a beautiful, inviting and spacious home. Undoubtedly the kitchen was the gathering place for the entire weekend. All the beds were comfortable and everyone slept well, which is always a tell tale sign for a great stay away from home.

Lots of space. Well stocked kitchen. Updated bathrooms. Good common spaces as well. Very clean. Friendly host. Great location for visiting U of I campus and an easy walk to downtown Champaign.

We were in town for graduation at U of I, and this house provided a great home base for us. Looks exactly like the pictures. Lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is amazing. The dining room, sitting room and sun room had plenty of room for our group of 7. The master bedroom is also much larger than expected, it was a great room. Wonderful historic home, would highly recommend!
