Welcome to my little sanctuary, which I own together with my son and daughter. Here you have nature right nearby with forest, water and open skies. There are two beds and space for two additional people to sleep in the living room. The house has everything, but remember to bring your own bed linens! The area is very suitable for cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature of southern Funen. Shopping facilities are a short distance away by car. A small-town atmosphere and good restaurants can be found in both Assens and Faaborg, both of which are about 17 km away.

Faurskov Mølle - Private apartment

Faurskov Mølle is located in the beautiful Brende Aadal - one of the most scenic areas on Funen. The area invites you to hike in forests and meadows. Likewise, the Funen fishing waters are within a short driving distance and Barløse Golf for a round, can be reached possibly by bike. Faurskov Mill is an old watermill with one of Denmark's largest mill wheels, diameter (6.40 m). There was originally a grain mill, which was later changed to a wool spinning mill. The mill has not been running since the 1920s.

It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

The charming old merchant's house is located on a cozy little main street with various shops, bakeries, supermarkets, a movie theater and restaurants. Forest and train station, which has direct connection to Odense Train Station, is only 2 minutes away on foot. Only about 4 km from the highway exit. The landlord also lives on the land in a separate house and works in the boulder barns. Most suitable if you come by car, as there is no public transport here. 5 min to shopping opportunities in Haarby. Close to forest and beach (12 min), Faaborg (20 min), Assens (20 min) and Odense (40 min).
