Vacation rentals in Turkey

“We stayed in Berna's apartment for about a week and a half and I can say this is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The apartment is on the top floor which means no upstairs neighbors being noisy when you're trying to sleep. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom faces the back of the building which is quiet. There is even a standing fan in the bedroom in case you get warm at night. The bedroom and living room each have a cute little balcony. The bathroom is also very nice: plenty of hot water that does not run out while showering. I liked this shower even more than my home shower! The washer/dryer is of excellent quality and much faster than most other European washers I've used. There is also a drying rack if you don't want to use the dryer for your clothes. A hairdryer and plenty of shampoo are also provided. We did not use the kitchen at all but it seemed to have everything you should need for cooking. Berna left water for us in the fridge to get us started which was very thoughtful (please do not drink the tap water in Turkey. Plenty of places nearby to purchase more drinking water for extremely cheap prices). The living room couch is incredibly comfortable and there is satellite TV with many channels for when you want to relax. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and stress free. The location is optimal. You are close to Taksim square so you can grab the M2 subway and a ton of buses to get to all kinds of stuff. The apartment is also walkable to the T1 tram and even more buses in that area which goes to many tourist attractions in Sultanahmet, Fatih, and beyond. Karaköy and Galata areas are also walkable from here with heaps of good restaurants. The street the apartment is on has numerous grocery and fruit shops as well as a few restaurants (I highly recommend eating at Altın Şiş a few doors down), and beyond that there are TONS of restaurants in close walking proximity. Overall this is a top notch apartment and an incredible value. Next time I come to Turkey if this apartment is available I will absolutely stay again.”

“Incredible hospitality and an amazing space! Yusuf and Erol were so kind and helpful with scheduling a last minute stay. They are welcoming and friendly, and helped recommend things to do, places to eat (delicious Turkish coffee place and fish sandwich spot) and just generally gave great insight for enjoying Istanbul as it was beginning to reopen after covid. The room is clean, trendy and cozy. Teşekkürler!”

“A bright, fully appointed apartment with everything in the kitchen and bathroom you could want. Elif is charming and the house and one behind all belong to family, Be aware the location is a 30 minute or so bus (I took 47E) ride into the areas most tourists are looking for. However the neighborhood, once you begin to explore, has food markets, mall, small shops, a coffee shop close by (turn left out of house and left at first street. Place is down on the right. You will know it when you see it. If you want to know the real Istanbul and not just the tourist city, this is a place you can do that.”
