We stayed here as a family of five – parents, grandparents, and a child – and it was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation is peaceful and secluded, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The large property guarantees privacy and tranquility – you really only hear the birds. It’s important to note that a car is essential, as the location is quite remote. However, within a 5-minute drive you’ll find a supermarket and several restaurants. The apartment itself is fully and modernly equipped – nothing was missing. Even insect screens are installed on all the windows, which is something you rarely find and greatly appreciate. One of the highlights was meeting the hosts. While they’re not always on-site, we were lucky enough to meet them – they were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and generous. They even brought us their own homemade wine and olive oil, and they also make delicious honey! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the place to be.

This is a really special cottage in beautiful surroundings. We loved having our morning coffee and evening meal out on the veranda, taking in the view and listening to birdsong! It’s well located to get to the Kalidonia and Millomeris waterfall trails on foot, and the Artemis/Atalante trail as well as some lovely vineyards are a short drive. There’s a good restaurant within walking distance in Platres village. I think some of the comments about the decor here miss the point - in a world of samey greige airbnbs, this is a beautiful well used family home, and while decor is traditional, it’s set up with all the mod cons you could need! The driveway up to the property is a very steep and narrow road shared between multiple properties. Unless you have a four wheel drive and/or are comfortable navigating a hill steeper than surrounding mountain roads, I’d recommend parking at the bottom of the hill - Annie will tell you where!

Amazing place and amazing hosts! Location of this house is just superb, outside dining area and balcony view is facing beautiful valley with warm sunsets. Because of the hilly location nesting birds are flying right at eye level and the nearest road is not very busy and can be barely heard. The house itself has everything to spend some days away from city routine, it's not very spacious, but for 2-4 people it's quite alright. We used bbq, internet is good enough to watch a couple of movies, hot water is actually hot :) Unfortunately, hot tub didn't work the time we arrived, there was something broken, but hosts were open and proactive in terms of problem management. The are some shops and restaurants in 5-10 minutes driving, also a lot of hiking routes if you like it. We brought our road bikes on us and explored central part of the island on the wheels. Not the first time in this place and as always it was a perfect stay. The location is absolutely stunning - quiet, beautiful and very peaceful. The house itself is spacious, well-designed, and equipped with everything you might need. It truly felt like a home away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I will definitely be coming back!

We did a friend’s party during our stay. So the place is perfect for events like that. Our stay was absolutely perfect! The place was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and easy; they were very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything for a pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Our stay at Chloe and Aristos's place was just perfect. Clean, great amenities, good parking and small touches such as a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us when we arrived, made all the difference. Their amazing backyard with comfortable seating areas and a special mountain view was the ultimate place to sit for breakfast before touring the wineries around the beautiful region. There is a great 24/7 grocery store very near the house which is super convenient. Thank you for the quick response time and all the care you put into every corner of The Pine House. We appreciated it! We'll be definitely be coming back!

We stayed at the house for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. The host was extremely helpful and made everything easy for us — check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The location in Platres was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!
