Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Trappitello

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips about restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After buying swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that is located just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea because of large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national team match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). Highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for us ☺️ a 15 minute walk from central Taormina - a great location for our hikes and exploring the local area. It was very easy to get into Taormina for the restaurants etc, but with the benefit of being able to escape the crowds after! The apartment itself was spotless, everything looked brand new. Good shower with good water pressure too. Roberto and Umberto were very friendly, and flexible when our travel plans were disrupted. The list of restaurants, taxi numbers and local activities that they provided was also very helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We floated over the rooftops of Catania in this great apartment. Amazing view over the city, in the middle of it and thus everywhere on foot. Great instructions from Anna, amenities exactly as described before. The roof terrace was our highlight with great plants and sun all day long. Warmest recommendation, we will be happy to come back! :)

Roberto was a great host and helped us get settled nicely once we got to Sicily. He answered any questions we had and gave us a list of restaurants, beaches and tours before we got there. He also helped book us a taxi to his apartment. The apartment is next to the grocery store and all the shops and restaurants which was very convenient. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend for anyone to stay there.

It's an amazing village! And Cesare is a great host! The arancini at 20m are super good, the bar is typical and friendly, and there are very nice walks all around. My only regrets: not staying longer, and not speaking Italian well to be able to communicate with the inhabitants of the village who are very friendly.

Everything was fabulous. It was very close to the parking and in the part of town that was not as busy. Caterina was very helpful with making us beach reservations and giving us recommendations for everything we needed. It was enjoyable to sit on the patio and drink a glass of wine in the evening.

This was an incredible place with a beautiful view. Really perfect and exactly what we were looking for. There was also the added bonus of a concierge, Alessandra, who helped us organize transit to and from the airport, car rental, took a grocery order for us so we’d arrive to a stocked kitchen, and organized tour with a guide for us. Alessandra was excellent and incredibly attentive. She definitely made this a unique and exceptional Airbnb experience that really exemplified hospitality.

Gaia’s place was everything we hoped for! Beautiful location with balcony looking out to the beach, hearing waves at night to send you to sleep is very special! The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and more. There were little touches that made it feel like home away from home. Gaia was also very thoughtful and left us a lovely treat for our arrival. Overall we had a fabulous stay! Communication from Gaia was great, and she made sure we got in ok on the evening of arrival! I liked the door code get in, as you don’t have to worry about carrying keys. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Gaia!

We had a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is gorgeous. Our children were able to play in the garden and swimming pool. If you want to sit a little outside the tourist hustle and bustle, and yet have all the amenities at your fingertips, this is ideal. We'd love to come back.

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

Tania's apartment is in a great location, in the center but a very quiet area at the same time! Apartment equipped with everything, it allowed me to work from home quietly. Tania was a very kind host and always available. I highly recommend it! :) Thank you for everything Tania

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

Feels like a small slice of typical, peaceful, Sicilian life, just by the busy tourist town of Taormina. The steps are really something (as they’re clear about in the description) but completely worth it to have the most incredible view. Also on the way down, it really takes no time at all to get straight into the middle of everything. The house itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Alessandro and Graziella are such amazing hosts and people, they are around to help with whatever you may need. Thank you both so much for having us, it was lovely to meet you!

Very nice accommodation, the terrace is a dream and we felt very comfortable. You have everything you need.

Spotless apartment with everything one needs for short or longer stays. There's even a radiator in the bedroom - perfect for the cold nights of winter. Two steps away from the shore, with a nice view of the sea from the balcony. Lovely place.

We had a fantastic few days at Marco's house. Very spacious, well located, with parking near the property. Everything was excellent.

A very nice apartment…. The entry sounds confusing before you get there but once you get there, it’s pretty straightforward and Giuseppe was always available and very flexible. There’s a lovely little back deck that’s eclectic and wonderfully private. Maybe a few hooks in the bathroom …. For the price, I would really recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place in Catania, Sicily. It’s tucked away in a quiet little alley, which made it very peaceful, yet it’s just a short walk to the main shopping areas and all the key tourist spots in the city. The location really couldn’t be better. Our host, Elisa, was absolutely charming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!
