Vacation rentals with beach access in Tofo Beach

This is a wonderful place to stay! Right on the beach, 10 min walk to restaurants, next door to Tofo Scuba with a great cafe! Natalino who checked us in was very kind and helpful. The accommodation itself is clean and spacious and you share the large deck with guests at the upstairs apartment. The only downside of this stunning apartment is that you may encounter selfish noisy guests in the upstairs apartment as we did. But that’s not the owner’s fault. Maybe book the upstairs one?

A really wonderful and peaceful stay. Very remote and quiet. The Turtle Cove lodge up the road is run by the same team and so it’s best to walk up there for any assistance, WiFi and great food at great prices if you feel like a break from cooking. There is no soap or beach towels so make sure you pack that :) Overall a great stay!

We stayed for 1 week, the location was perfect! Close enough to the town that you could easily walk there on the beach however out the way of tourists and locals. Very peaceful and the view from the balcony was incredible. We watched the sunrise every morning 😍.

His studio was a perfect fit and the price was outstanding for the 8 days I spent. Aaron was gracious and super helpful, especially when a citywide electricity outage happened unexpectedly, he supplied beautiful fairy lantern and an additional space where the air flowed freely without a fan. Aaron was very responsive and made us feel comfortable and at home. He is definitely a super host! I would rent any space he hosts in the future.

Realmente Música do mar, ocean view, es mucho más lindo q las fotos. Muy linda vista al mar, un balcón muy grande con gran vista al mar, y un deck más cercano aún al mar, ese es espacio compartido, pero nos tocó solos. Hermosos pájaros pudimos escuchar y ver. Muy privado, súper tranquilo, a diez minutos del centro caminando por la playa. La cocina muy práctica. La ducha impecable. Natelino es una gran ayuda, nos recibió, ofreció limpiar si queríamos, cocinarnos, hacer compras, lavar la ropa, es muy muy atento. Y consigue muy freco pescado, langosta, langostinos enormes, calamares, todo del día. Todos los días comimos esas exquiciteces. También proporcionan la información para transfer desde el aeropuerto de Inhambane, q usamos. Y para taxi local, ya q nosotros nos manejamos sin auto, sin ningún problema, caminando o con taxi. Estuvimos 5 días, cambiaron sábanas y toallas. Recomendamos mucho este alojamiento, lo disfrutamos, excelente relación precio/ calidad!

Vento Verde is a rare find. We were a group of 4 and spent 3 serene nights here. Though we didn’t meet the owner, every detail reflects his aesthetic sensibility and deep reverence for nature. The open, airy layout lets the natural breeze flow through, with clean lines, rustic texture, and a seamless connection to the outdoors. Practically, everything works. The house is meticulously maintained. Kitchen is fully equipped and sparkling clean- we enjoyed preparing meals together. Bedrooms are comfortable, with thoughtful attention to airflow and light. Suzu, the house dog, was a gentle and calming presence and offered quiet companionship and the occasional cuddle. Manuel, the caretaker, was kind and discreet; we appreciated his help cleaning fresh seafood for dinner. Beach is steps away. Up the dune, I came across a wooden bench with a carved line: Kairos — the fleeting rightness between time and space. It captures the spirit of this place perfectly. We felt lucky to experience it.

This was the second part of a three weeks stay, and it just got better and better. The weather and surf improved and the sunrises were out of this world. We spent a lot more time enjoying the property and beach across the road and the many beautiful walks. Miss it already. We’ll be back.

This is a hidden gem in portion, that is well equipped and adequately priced. Host was very accommodative of our travel itinerary in accommodating us. Pity our stay was short, looking forward to visiting again for longer.

Viktor’s place is a beautiful gated cottage in a secure area by the beach. Easy walking distance to all restaurants and beach. Enough place to park our 3 cars. It’s so quiet and peaceful and has everything what you need. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. Viktor is very friendly and helpful and we thank you for having let us stay.

A nossa estadia na Karula Sand Villa foi simplesmente maravilhosa! A casa é excelente, com todos os detalhes bem pensados para proporcionar conforto e tranquilidade. Desde o momento da chegada, fomos recebidos com muita simpatia pelos anfitriões, Ana e Paulo, que fizeram de tudo para que nos sentíssemos em casa. A ajudante Beatriz foi também incrivelmente atenciosa e prestativa durante toda a nossa estadia. A Karula Sand Villa é verdadeiramente um refúgio de paz, ideal para relaxar e desfrutar de umas férias perfeitas. Recomendamos vivamente e, sem dúvida, voltaremos!

Absolutely amazing and definitely worth it! Lynn was so helpful with even the smallest questions. Thank you for going the extra mile and giving us advice at the border crossing to cooking crayfish. The staff at the house is very pleasant and more than willing to help. The house is beautiful, very spacious and has a great location! I will definitely be going back! ❤

O Richie foi muito prestável e simpático. A casa é muito simpática, a sala é aberta para a natureza e as duas suites bem confortáveis e frescas (com A/C). Ainda assim, sugiro levar repelente e dormir com os mosquiteiros das camas. A senhora da limpeza, Felizarda, também foi muito simpática e prestável. O point de surf Tofinho, um dos melhores de Moçambique, fica literalmente a 2 minutos a pé 🤟
