Amazing house in the heart of Taroudant. Everything was perfect since 1st minute when we came to Taroudant. Ahmed met us 100meters away from the house so we wouldn't get lost. The house itself has all the small details in interior to feel like you really stay in old Morocco house but at the same time with all needs like hot water in the showers, gas in the kitchen, lights, terrace with another small kitchen and lots of small details that make your stay unique. Just outside the house on the corner you have fresh chicken, all the fruits and vegetables and endless amount of bakeries where they sell fresh bread. The town itself is also unique, we spent a week and despite the fact that alcohol is not sold anywhere at all, it's absolutely alcohol free town, but the hospitality is amazing. people are kind and noone wants to cheat you as you might see in other towns in Africa. on the night time they simply cover their fruits and vegetables on the street and noone would steal anything. Karl's villa in Taroudant is an incredible retreat. Our group of seven, consisting of ages 5 to 70, were graciously welcomed by Karl who made all of us feel very relaxed and at home. Karl was available at a moment's notice and facilitated two wonderful homemade dinners for us. The property is truly astonishing in its scope and the art and decor is stunning. Before we left, we were already talking about how much we'd like to return in the future. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here. The villa is even better than the pics and pool and garden are fabulous. Quite secluded place to relax and unwind in for the whole family. There was an outdoor ping pong table and lots of assorted pool toys to keep us entertained. Pool & garden were maintained more or less daily during our stay. The place was clean and had all the necessities in the kitchen for cooking in including some dry ingredients if required. The location is quite remote but there are some shops and basic restaurant at a service station within 10mins drive if needed. There is also a caterer who delivers to the villa with a little more extensive menu. Host was fabulous and proactively communicated with us before and during our stay to ensure everything worked out smoothly. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in der Oasis Argane. Das Haus ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen, Pfau, Hund und Katze leisten den Gästen Gesellschaft, und das Essen ist köstlich. Die Unterkunft eignet sich gut, um direkt vor oder nach dem Flug nach Agadir ein paar Tage auszuspannen und im Atlasgebirge zu wandern. Taroudant ist ebenfalls interessant, da überhaupt nicht touristisch - man kann ohne Probleme durch den Souk schlendern und einkaufen oder abends etwas essen gehen (eine bessere Tajine als die von Habiba muss man allerdings erst einmal finden). Laurent ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, mit guten Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge.

The riad was amazing! We felt like Home After we entered the house. It is even better than on the photos and the Hosts are so cute and friendly. I really had an amazing time and can just recommend to anyone who wants to visit Taroudannt but in a local and chilled Atmosphere.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour de quatre nuits chez Margaux à Taroudant avec Fatiha. La maison est un véritable havre de paix, cachée au cœur de la médina, avec une atmosphère sereine et orientale qui invite à la détente. La piscine est un oasis de fraîcheur très appréciable après une journée d’exploration. Les petits déjeuners, servis dans le patio au son des oiseaux, étaient un vrai moment de bonheur. Margaux et son équipe nous ont accueillis avec chaleur et simplicité — on s’est sentis comme chez nous dès le premier jour. Un lieu charmant, une belle rencontre, et une région à découvrir absolument. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir. Merci encore Margaux !

What an exceptional Airbnb. The art work and decorations in the apartment is amazing. We have used Airbnb for years and I have never seen a kitchen better stocked with dishes, pan, and other appliances of such high quality. Super clean. Great washing machine. Lots of room and a very modern new apartment. Nice view of mountains. Close to town wall and gate. Hosts were so helpful and even let us in early to store our luggage so we could go hiking in the Anti-Atlas mountains. Be sure to stay here if you are in this wonderful region
