Contactless cozy BD/Bath just north of downtown

Heather’s place is one I have stayed at countless times! She is a gracious host with great tips about this city she loves! The house is quiet, well equipped and comfortable. The neighborhood has always been safe and quiet. It is an easy drive to much of the city. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area who is looking for a place to rest and relax without worry! Thank you to Heather for always having a place for me to stay! It has been a pleasure knowing you and your wonderful family all of these years!

Relax in an upscale, renovated gem

MeganRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The bridal party booked this for our place to stay for the wedding and it was the PERFECT night before the wedding and post-reception sigh of relief. The home was everything we needed to relax and calm ourselves before our friend’s big day and was a glorious landing pad after a day packed full of wedding activities. It was extremely close to the venue (a HUGE plus) and was so peaceful! We all loved it so much we’re ready to plan a friend weekend get-away here to just spend time with those long-distance faces. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful, peaceful weekend. It’s about 20 minutes from Hillsborough and some delicious coffee too!

Awesome place to stay in Durham! Very quiet and we loved all the rooms, especially the sun room! Great place to stay if wanting to be away from the city but still close enough!

Serenity Cottage

Cynthia was a great host, even though she was on the property it was like she wasn’t even there. If you live outside and nature this is the place for you. My kids loved the flowers and pool, it was very nice. Highly recommend.

Carolyn's place was perfect. The bed was super comfortable, and the room and whole place was super serene. Waking up to the trees outside the window was a great feeling.

Mayo Lake Front Spilt Unit: Highend,Clean,Updated

This was a beautiful peaceful stay. I have an autistic child and safety is always a concern. The door to the outside is extremely child safe. I was able to truly enjoy the view and surroundings. I was able to sleep and not worry that my child could wander out the door. Parents with special needs children can feel safe bringing their child of any age and any ability, yes even by the water. I have not felt so secure in any other accommodation as we did here. The host is very kind and responsive. I highly recommend this to anyone. We look forward to booking a longer stay in the future.

Luxurious, Clean Private Room near Triangle & Duke

NatashaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I've been using Airbnb for years, and this is by far one of my favorite stays. I usually don't like shared spaces. For various reasons it is not my preferred type of stay. But Ruth has done everything right. The room I chose is spacious with a private bath and sitting area, plus a table to work and/or eat. There's a big screen TV with dedicated comfortable seating. The mid-century decor is authentic and fun. The bed is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I had access to a full size refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. (No use of the stove or oven, but that was clear from the listing and I didn't require it for my stay.) It was clear that Ruth caters to a very particular type of traveler: quiet, single professionals who want a safe place to sleep and work. She found a sweet spot where it's priced competitively with a standard hotel room, but she's provided amenities you'd have if you were staying with a family member who is an excellent and thoughtful host. 10/10 recommend!
